Ali Bashir, 30 Aug 2016I wish sony used qualcomm 650 in z3+ and z5 series. it was a summer day, and the store was pretty hot making the phone heat up easily. Ima try another time in my home in aircondition conditions, see what we can come up with.
CrystalHeart, 30 Aug 2016Oh god! Please makes these people feel grateful with this art of technology. Sony did the best... morejust because im stating a certain drawback doesn't make me ungrateful. It's actually what moves sony to push the boundaries even more, to fix issues they have.
Oh god! Please makes these people feel grateful with this art of technology. Sony did the best they could make, they had they own tradition, and I've admited that they're unique if compare with the other smartphone brands.
Ali Bashir, 29 Aug 2016Sorry about your name dude, i didn't mean it. ok i recorded in the settings you wanted, outside summer time with the sun over my head. I expected z5 to keep on recording forever, but that wasn't the case. Camera shut down at 11 minutes of recording.. maybe it was the sun and the fact that i went to a pretty hot store to get something to eat?
Anyway after I left the store Z5 stopped recording 1080p 60fps video at 11 minutes. Obviously I was wrong.
TeamAndroid, 29 Aug 2016what's wrong with you , first of all when exactly I compared ''big professional camera'' with... morethey are mirrorless dslr cameras.. their sensors are as big as your fist.. not as your nail.
DenisXD, 29 Aug 2016Sony might be doing it on their high end cameras (high end big as.s bulky cameras), but Z5 or ... morewhat's wrong with you , first of all when exactly I compared ''big professional camera'' with a phone ? clearly you are not aware of nonsense you speak off , should go back and read my post again ... and secondly Sony A6300 neither is big nor a professional camera . I just pointed out that Sony does do such thing and they often port technologies from their camera department to mobile division like hybrid AF, steadyshot and even Bioniz image processing itself , of course those features don't work so great on a phone as they do on mirrorless digital camera .
Tann Hauser, 28 Aug 2016Dont go vain on me fella.
Whats wrong.with ya? You seem to be in "fight mode" or sth.
Sensor... moreI'm not trying to fuc.k with u, i state that the cameras are recording in the resolution you put em to record. The phones aren't recording in 6k and then downscale the videos in 4k, or 1080p.
If this was happening it wouldn't matter in which resolution we record, as the phone would end up being a toaster, literally. Sony z5 can record 1080p until it runs out of memory, and 4k until it heats up.
It would heat up if it was recording in 6k, no matter if i put 1080p or 4k as the end result.
TeamAndroid, 28 Aug 2016I'm not sure who is right , either you or Tann , and honestly don't care but SONY does for exa... moreSony might be doing it on their high end cameras (high end big as.s bulky cameras), but Z5 or Xp are not cameras, neither have big bulky camera sensors, neither a processor powerful enough to handle 6k recording without burning itself, facts are facts. They are phones with cameras. Great cameras yes, but limited due to sensor size. I have to agree on the "who cares?" part as it really doesn't matter, but for the convo going on, ill continue.
You can't compare a big professional camera that's made for video recording, with a phone camera. Simply because it's a phone on the end, not a professional camera. I hope this clears these nonsense about 6k recording.
Ali Bashir, 29 Aug 2016Dear Dinex, use you xperia z5 and record a vedio recording with 1080p 60fps, use cpu temperatu... moreill do it as soon as i can! you'll see it won't shut down even at 60fps fhd with stabilisation on. On my way
PS: My real name is Denis, and DenisXD everywhere online.
My name is not Dinex, Binex or cleanex.
DenisXD, 28 Aug 2016I have to learn photography and video basics!.. ok. You do realise how smart you sound?.. N... moreDear Dinex, use you xperia z5 and record a vedio recording with 1080p 60fps, use cpu temperature application from the play store to measure the temperature, then you will understand what I am trying to discuss.
TeamAndroid, 28 Aug 2016I'm not sure who is right , either you or Tann , and honestly don't care but SONY does for exa... moreYes that is what i am trying to say, remember that vedio about vedio recording comparison be xperia x and samsung s7 which been deleted later, during the test xperia x reported overheating then shutdown then the reviewer directly measured the temperature of both devices and they were the same at 40 C, this temperature is not overhea, XPERIA X AND X PERFORMANCE ARE NOT OVERHEATING.
Is this 3GB weakling still capped at 1080p video recording?
