If he brings his phone to the "Official" service center in the capital city. The technicians in there will try to void his warranty. Now you know how terrible sony's service in his countries. Actually.. in his country sony outsources their services to other "incapable" company. I dont know why sony do this.. probably to reduce costs??
I know it because i ever worked in his country, and many ex-sony fans friends told me that.

He also fragments the business, so all business should be profitable by themselves not to rely on other lucrative business.
The only good thing is tech sharing. So even if Sony mobile RD have not resulted anything since 2012, they still get shared tech from other Sony, like screen tech, sound tech, and contents from Sony music and sony pictures, exclusive camera sensors from Sony semiconductor and solutions.

Well if what you said is true, that's awful b/c R&D is what gives companies their edge, so cutting back on funding for that dept is beyond stupid. I am so tired of waiting for them to "wake up" though. They just keep slipping every year, despite that I still LOVE their phones. Just wish I could have a shot at running things. I could make Sony Mobile KING in the US and the world if I just had a chance to. lol People would be like "Sam-what?!" and "iWho?!" LOL

Then Sony new CEO (more powerful than Sony mobile CEO) Kazuo Hirai came.
We don't know exactly what happened there. What should he does is bailing sony mobile, so it can run the business properly. But he made cost cutting programe instead, n focused on profitable business, what a fatal mistake. Sony mobile cutted a lot cost in RD and marketing, and saved it for production dept.

All they care about is make and sell. They dont advertise like how Apple or Samsung does, they dont make enhance or improve their phones really and they dont provide good costumer support. What bugged me the most, until now, is moving away from America, China and India. What the? Moving away from three of the biggest markets of the world, how idiotic. You cant call that strategy, Stupidity is the right word. They even remove the fingerprint scanner on the Xperia X/Performance US versions which is super pathetic. I still love Sony even though they are very idiotic. Its the only smartphone company that I love.
