I see. Ok then yeah the XP is the phone for you. lol
Yeah to help differentiate the X series from the Z series, Sony has chosen not to put glass on the backside of the X series like they did with the Z. I welcome the change because I love how the XP (graphite black and white/silver colors only) has that brushed aluminum/hairline finish on the back. Looks great!
RockStar2005, 03 Jun 2016No problem panda. So are you gonna buy the X or XP? Or neither?XP, since it has better processor and waterproof. I once got iPhone 3G back then, and it's broken because of a birthday prank with water, hence my search for waterproof phones. I'm not too fond of glassback phones too, since I'm a clumsy one.
was18, 03 Jun 2016What is the problem with the x performance ?I'm sorry, it's a fault of mine, where I posted a youtube link about X's, not XP's. But Team's link already gave the answer from other X's users
RockStar2005, 03 Jun 2016panda, That's ok. I thought maybe you were trolling but it sounds like you weren't. lol ... morewell, what I do is just gave a link without any words to speak, so it's my own fault if I were thought as troll. Team's link already calmed the shock after I saw the youtube link I posted.

I don't know what happened. They say the 650 is actually faster than the 808 and the 810 b/c it has fast cores, but that's all I know. The 820 is faster and I have yet to read about any overheating issues from devices that use it. Since the XP will have the 820, I don't anticipate there being any problems.
The XP costs more, but I think it's the better (and nicer-looking) phone to have. I just wish Sony was releasing it FIRST. Hate that I have to wait 'til July to get it, but whatever.

RockStar2005, 03 Jun 2016That's the X. This thread is for the X Performance only. I had the Z3 and it NEVER overheated. really sorry for that (currently opening the X's thread on the next tab), but I also want to ask what really happened and whether XP will get the same issue (which I hope not). Is it about software issue or other reasons? Is it because the MP exceed the limit of SD650's? Sorry if my questions seems stupid.

Update: Actually, VoLTE makes it so you can use 4G LTE during a call, so faster data, and also improved call quality I guess. But Verizon and Sprint didn't have this back when I had them, only T-Mobile and AT&T did. V and S got them more recently. So I thought that you couldn't do both w/o VoLTE, but not true. Just that Verizon didn't have it back when I had them. lol
Some GOOD news..........despite my discovery that the X series will not have VoLTE (see previous post), I found out it's really not an issue at all. Having VoLTE used to mean you could browse and connect to the internet WHILE ON a call. Before you couldn't do both. But I just tested out an Xperia Z1s which does NOT have VoLTE on it, and tried to browse the net and use apps like GMail app while on a call...... and apparently now you CAN do both at the same time even w/o having VoLTE!! So really, it's not a big deal at all!
VoLTE helps to connect your calls faster too, but if I have to wait a few more seconds, so be it.

I even have the T-Mobile/ASUS CellSpot router ($200 when was new), and it's a BEAST of a router! Top-notch! But for phones........ come on. I'm gonna pick Sony every time. lol
AnonD-501550, 31 May 2016Do you think we'll get swayed to buy Asus with your statements? Just go and buy your Zenfone.... moreYes please do mind your own business, don't compare your Zenfone to Xperia, if you brag about asus brag about they're motherboards that I will support you but for phone? Don't even bother.

But he actually doesnt even read given solutions, has no whatsoever knowledge of tech nor software...

The guy Really should be banned for good from these places
Avan Dr, 30 May 2016Remember i recomended you ZF3, check them out. Its better than this crap in everything. -Pret... moreit's not the same sensor , I've done mu work and dig that info out ZF3 won't be even able to record videos at 60fps only 30fps LOL ... IMX300 is still exclusive only to Xperia devices ...also lens are not better in fact those are so inferior to G lens that is not even worth mentioning . only better price...other than that ZF3 has nothing over XP .
So I guess the Xperia X phones, because they're unlocked, WILL NOT come with certain carrier-specific features like HD Voice & VoLTE. Just found this out. Sux b/c I have T-Mobile and have enjoyed these features, but once I get the XP, I will no longer have them available. Not a BIG deal, but definitely a minus. I had the T-Mobile Z3 and it had those features, but that's only b/c it was the T-Mobile Edition. lol
I COULD get the T-Mobile Edition HTC 10 and have those features, but its camera isn't AS good as the XP's. And I guess if I HAVE to choose, I'd rather have a better camera than those 2 features. HD Voice is good I guess. VoLTE lets u use internet while on a call and u stay in 4G LTE too (w/o VoLTE, calls go down to 4G). I notice too that with VoLTE the phone calls connect faster than w/o. But the thing is, I don't really talk on the phone that much, so I think for me I can live with it. I didn't know they were carrier-specific features though. Just sux having to make yet another sacrifice (waiting 'til freakin' July, HAVING to get the int'l version just to get fingerprint sensor & IP65/68, etc).
