wow.. sony has many many much much enemies. sooo many bad comments here.
Guys i think its time to stop talking about speed and performance, and i think the real subject today is less power consumption and less heat.

But it never reflected in real life performance.
Phonebuff found it to be slower than SD808 G4.
Do you see a trend here?
Just think about it.
Old samsung devices note 3 and 4 s4, s5 would usually score the highest in benchmarks.
We all know these old samsungs were laggy compared to m7, m8, z1 ,z2, z3 and nexus.
But things have changed now.
Innosaint, 08 May 2016LOOOOL... I thought I was the only one who saw through that. ahahahahhaaaa...People with common sense think like that ;)

Now when 820 cripples the 8890 in benchmarks, now for fanboys, benchmarks are nothing. Now for them some unknown "phone buff" speed test is their holy book
Anonymous, 08 May 2016Benchmarks mean nothing. It means something. Its for comparing true power of the SoC.
Phonebuff speed test is nothing. No one is going to do those in real life scenarios.
820 scores more in GFX bench. This means its better for gaming.
And across the world, whether PC or mobile, people use benchmarks to compare processors, not some unknown phonebuff
If you are using that as a metric for comparing processors, are you saying that Apple A9 is the fastest? LOL gimme a break.

I respect your opinion, but if u noticed in phone suppose two phones the difference is 25 seconds between opening and closing 50 application, u still talking about 0.25 seconds while opening then same while oppening and i say again maybe not because of cpu, maybe software or maybe variation of heat because some devices have bigger display and high ppi or some cpu's heat faster than other or maybe because of the home and back button on some devices built-in and some dedicated on touch screen....

That because the test he provided is not good. Speed advantage is hardly noticeable when testing 1 app at a time.
If you check Phonebuff on Youtube, you will find much bigger speed difference among
iPhone 6s, Exynos S7 and all other SD820 powered phones. They basically put the phone through a obstacle course. (Running app after app consecutively) its these test that show the true difference.

Like i said phonebuff style is the only real speed test.
I could not care less about SD820 S7.
Its not available in my country making it irrelevent to me.
We get the superior Exynos.
Show me a phonebuff style speed test where SD820 beats Exynos or iPhone.
Dont bother providing garbage test like the one you just provided.
Anonymous, 08 May 2016Another useless speed test.

I gave you a phonebuff test that proved that samsung cannot optimize snapdragon but your reply was "Oh no, it's not Exynos S7". Now I gave you an Exynos test and you reply now is "Oh no, it's not phonebuff test". LOOOL! There's no winning with you, unfortunately there's nothing to win here.
The thing is you're thinking I'm doing this to win some argument, you are wrong. I'm just correcting you to the fact that there is no proof that Exynos is superior.
(WHICH IS VERY MUCH PLAUSIBLE IF SAMSUNG INTENTIONALLY CRIPPLED SD820 TO PROVE A POINT AND BOOST EXYNOS SALES. Yeah I'm serious, that company is scary as shit. Have you seen what they're been sued for? I mean these guys have a weapon's department, there is no limit to their sabotage.)
It's all about optimization but to U it's Exynox will humiliate SD, oh S7 will humiliate X performance.
Face it, no one is a champ at everything and samsung's drawback? OPTIMIZATION.
Innosaint, 08 May 2016Not trying to drag the issue but I see no humiliation here... https://www.youtube.com/watch... moreSorry but this is stupid with my respects, first of all there is no more slow phones, phones speed are almost similar, i just can't believe that many people still believe in this test booting up the phone then opening and closing applications, and if there is a difference it seems to be just 0.2 second and offcourse this is not because of hardware, because all cpu's become superb from qualcomm 805 till 820, the real difference here is the power consumption, although some of them are much powerful from others but maybe the lowest one can give 100% performance.
