I actually have my Sony XA1 I like it because of the beautiful camera and its long lasting battery life. I can even used it for the whole day while using internet and playing online games.
I have had my Xa1 since October (about 8months ago) and so far have been very happy with it. In saying that, I have never owned a flagship phone, so I wouldn't know how it compares to highend ones. The battery life lasts an easy day, sometimes two, the screen resolution is great, and I'm very happy with the camera. I have never had a problem with touch. The only problem I had, was that my phone started making weird notification-like sounds. I had no notifications, it would happen at random times, often without an app open. This was an easy fix, as my NFC was detecting my Myki, which was in the phone cover.
Sony has been great for my family and I, and my Xa1 has lasted well. Whatever brand and design you go for really depends on what type of phone you prefer. Also, if you live life with your eyes glued to the screen, maybe you would be better spending more on a top price phone.
How could I solve the touch problems??? Anyone please help me out with a solution 😭😭

Please stop blaming Sony because of your bad maintaining. Sony always had best devices and worst customers. Samsung have twice bad touch and slow devices in this class!
just brought through flipkart..on14 feb .when i went to put screen guard that time only shopkeeper told ur screen is damaged i called flip kart manytimes releated to this issues but i didnt get any help.on 15may when i was outsation my automatically discharged ..nd now i am trying to charge but helpless .went to sony coustmer care they said u hv to pay 9500 then only it will repair or replace ..

I've never been this dissapointed in Sony. I have had my phone for 4 months and it is no longer usable. All the edges of the screen no longer respond to touch. Which has made the phone practicaly unusuable. This in combination with it overheating like crazy makes me honestly want to trough this stupid thing out of the window just so I never have to see this stupid excuse of a phone in one piece again.

All three are great with Oreo systems. Indeed XZs is top, but in no case found this problem that you say regarding signals. Check your signal provider compatibility in your country for this model or upgrade it. Don't fool people.
Regarding screen problems is still a maintaining problem knowing Mediatek's is still a crap motherboard designer. There are apps that can manage this issue and be very aware from where you buy it.
I don't think so, I used Sony xA1 for just about 6 months i was sickly disappointed with touch screen difficulties, I think it was the branded phone? . We must be reliable onto those issues and improve YOUR TOUCH SCREEN .. Its better to have low battery life than this.

Bought honor 9i in india but after 2 months its battery life is pathetic and its hanging also. Have to used my sony xa which i thought is crap compare to the specs that ive got from honor 9i.

It's pure bullshit. Perhaps Apple and Samsung are selling you crap phones there in Asia? But I doubt it. Here in the US they are among the best phones available. There's a reason why they are #1 and #2 in sales worldwide. And FYI I do own the XA-1 since May 2017 and it works great; but clearly there are other production lots that have major defects and I sympathize with those who bought one.
If you're looking for a great snapper and heck of a wonderful screen in a compact and rather nice to hold form, This is definitely the phone for you, However after using the XA1 for over a Year I would say aside from the above, Its a rather unreliable phone for a user that wants to be connected to the internet 24/7, Personally I have experienced network connectivity issues all the time with the XA1 , (Malaysia - Webe 4G-LTE/Band 5), Completely useless indoors or behind buildings when cheaper phones of other manufacturers shine and is able to get decent signal. Battery capacity is not that great either, and yes I have experienced the Touchscreen problem too, my whole screen would not respond to touch, luckily that is covered under warranty though it took them a full month to get it fixed. About the network issue, they blamed my carrier though my argument is how can other cellphones of cheaper and shoddier brands work very well but not a Sony? Truly dissatisfied and disappointed, Stay away from this model

Seems aggressive? You should think again about your impressions than with your money. Sony is top brand best value for money. You need proof? Buy XA2 and see for yourself if you can get other device better at its price and class (at least).

I'm a Sony fan too (I have other device Sony, SWR 30, headset, DVD for example and other Hi-Fi device).
I have explain only my experience. I don't care other brands.
Certainly in the future before buying another Sony smartphone I will value my money well

It's not a problem solving for Sony, but Sony will take action in most of the cases. This is a very good example of Dave.
I was having problems with XA model of not responding on margins of the touch. Did the same and I wasn't bothered. Samsung S8+: Screen died in few days and I know 4 cases among my friends, still everyone is buying it.
Sony will surely quit Mediatek motherboard and drivers. Sony will help, be patient and follow the necessary steps.
