How's network reception and heating compared to other phones? Any impressions? What about GPS?
I have been using it from last 3 weeks
Camera is awesome.
Back is scratchless.
Downloading and processing is fast.
Best battery backup i ever had in any phone.
Sometimes I face issues regarding sound while on call or while listening to music via Bluetooth.
Touch is less responsive than the iphone that i previously owned.
Overall i liked it as its specification is of good quality.

As a m... moreIt doesn't have front facing flash and 64GB of internal storage cause it's cheaper compared to the XA1ultra. As far as the speaker is concerned it's one of the loudest I've ever come across in any Sony phone to be honest, it's really really loud. It falls in between the XA1 and XA1 ultra, so if you're looking something in the middle this is for you.
I cam here to gripe a bit about the phone. Coming from a few Ultras and a Z5 Premium... As a mid-range and being 5.5, it should have a front facing flash. Supposedly this is a Premium in a 5.5 size, rather than a smaller 6inch Ultra. Xperia C5 Ultra, XA Ultra, and XA1 Ultra; had a front facing flash. I'm disappointed in 32gb internal, when it should be at 64gb, because of the XA1 Ultra has a 64gb option. What happened to front facing speakers? Or why not take the concept of 5.1/7.2 surround sound; two front facing plus the bottom as a 2.1 sound reflecting from below. I am glad that the screen is 1080p, because the XA1 was 720p. C5 Ultra was edge to edge. They can make less forehead and chin if they make it thicker.... I just think they had this phone already in the works, so they couldn't chunk it just yet. I just wonder when the next iteration is if they are in this every 3 month new phone release trend.

Kk, 22 Oct 2017Please tell me about music and ear phone output I got the Sony STH32 stereo phones free with XA1 Plus and it's really amazing, the sound quality is really awesome, haven't tried the normal headphones yet though but this phone has the best speaker I've ever come across in a Sony phone, even without headphones.
Superb big screen action at this price with monstrous battery life, super loud speaker, solid build quality and great cameras, it's true value for money. Thanks Sony!!

I'm using the XA1 Plus, it's camera is the same which is on the Z5, nothing wrong while taking photos or making videos.

ravi, 17 Oct 2017guys.... please confirm me availability of OTG feature ??Yes it does support otg.
The Xperia XA1 Plus tops out at 1080p/30fps when recording video, a limitation imposed by the Mediatek chipset, though we've seen Sony consistently keep 4K to its higher-end phones even when the hardware supports it. Competitors based on the Snapdragon 625 chip do have 4K video recording capabilities, so that's worth keeping in mind.
You also have the option for capturing the 1080p clips in HDR, but that won't get you a quality improvement.
The standard 1080p/30fps mode is encoded at about 17Mbps, which is the defacto standard. Audio is recorded in stereo at 128Kbps.
The video samples are soft and detail levels are unimpressive. The limited dynamic range in videos will leave you with pretty dark shadows, too.
