Johnny , 10 Jan 2018sony already reduced bezels for xa2, but i think they should install 3000 mah battery instead ... moreYou are complaining about your battery life and then whishing Sony would have reduced their new phones battery size from 3300 to 3000? I am happy Sony is taking this route to thicken their phones to fit bigger batteries. I whish this would be with Android One, I am not sure about Sonys software smoothnes and updates.

Here you go!! A all new product from Sony which uses SD630, 3300mAh with Type C on 5.2" screen device, looks fantastic but the price should be competitive with other mid-rangers like Moto X4 & Nokia 6(2018).
Not expected to be priced as upper mid-ranger like Lagsung A8(2018)...
Anonymous, 11 Jan 20189.7 mm with just 3000 mAH battery? There are phones with much less thickness with more battery.3300mAh, dude! Get your eyes checked!
imparanoic, 09 Jan 2018just wondering, does this XA2 support Ldac? i notice it supports aptx hd and bluetooth 5.0If it runs Oreo, it runs ldac...
I was about to buy it's predecessor (XA1), after sold my XA1 Ultra (only last 1 week of full use), but then I chose to buy XZ (2016 flagship) due to its spec, although the review in this website is not quite good if compared with other flagship.
Fortunately, I bought it for the same price of XA1 Ultra, and probably with the same price of this handset also (XA2), and I'm very grateful to it (XZ spec still better then this xa2 except the battery).
Hopefully, Sony will keep maintaining the quality of their phone as usual (never ever disappointed with Sony).
9.7 mm with just 3000 mAH battery? There are phones with much less thickness with more battery.
Dissapointed, 10 Jan 2018USB 2.0? In 2018? Really?USB Type-C.... really!
Dissapointed, 10 Jan 2018USB 2.0? In 2018? Really?U still use USB? while everything is wireless now!
Climateconcern, 10 Jan 2018It's just a midrange. I think you're referring to Samsung's A8 😂🤣.Yes it is and expensive as always.
Dissapointed, 10 Jan 2018USB 2.0? In 2018? Really?So does galaxy a8
I'm an iPhone guy but also switch to Android now and then. This phone looks really promising and very good, especially if the price will be around 300 to 400 euro. Of course you can get phones with similar or better specs from Chinese brands, but those companies are not to trust and the customer service is bad or non-existent here in Europe. Nobody owns Xiaomi or whatever phone. I'm looking forward what Sony will do with their flagship of 2018. Hopefully OIS in the camera, a really loud speaker sound, not too big screen/overall dimensions (5.2 is enough) and that they stick to 1080p. A higher res is NOT necessary. Sony has the potential to become the best manufacturer in the Android world in my opinion. I've tried different brands but Sony's are blazing fast, the software optimization is really good.
why the hell r u putting finger scanner on the back of the phone sony..
This is THE phone I've been waiting for. I currently have a Galaxy S7, but my battery is highly degraded to a point where I can only get about 3 hours of screen time... barely, so probably after the 2 year anniversary of my phone's purchase date, I'll buy this one. I really like what Sony has done with it. I just hope the camera performs as good as it looks on paper, in which case, I'm sold.
