Hi,I want to choose best phone from Sony XZ and Xiaomi mi 5s phones. My main priorities are Camera, Battery life and Performance. Please Help Me..
I just updated to Oreo, phone is much faster & more fluid. however, i see no new features of orea, like pic-in-pic.
camera interface now easier to use.
overall, im very happy
the most laggy smartphone i've ever used in my life so far. topped with bad customer service. firmware full of bugs. nothing great is coming out of this phone. overheating camera is still an issue. ALWAYS! since Xperia Z1. some apps doesn't work in this phone at all. battery life is also getting worse model by model.
my asus zenfone 3 is way better than this phone and it cost half of it. Sony had fallen into a bottomless pit. such a lousy phone!
Fazsdrive, 29 Nov 2017when device heat up, it'll force shut down or not? i used Z3 but heat issue is very disappoint... moreAnd i forgot to mention that i had the z3 and yes it used to overheat when playing high graphics games however when it comes to the camera, you probably faced the same issue i did when i first bought it, your issue is that you were using 1080p 60fps resolution and it is overkill especially for the z3 as a 2014 smartphone, my z3 never overheated or shutdown the camera when recording 1080p 30fps, btw the xz is overall way step ahead.
Fazsdrive, 29 Nov 2017when device heat up, it'll force shut down or not? i used Z3 but heat issue is very disappoint... moreZ3's heating issue still present in XZ. Google it. Don't trust comments from here.
Fazsdrive, 29 Nov 2017when device heat up, it'll force shut down or not? i used Z3 but heat issue is very disappoint... moreThe p9 lite is capable of recording 1080p 30fps resolution not more, good news that at this resolution the xz can record until the memory run out without any tiny rise in temperature, however then if you wanted to use a high resolution such as 1080p 60fps or 4k it might not record for a long time normally like any other smartphone.
when device heat up, it'll force shut down or not? i used Z3 but heat issue is very disappointed.
then i used P9 lite and, it's steady to record more than 1 hour (for my video project). Temperature is maintain....
LaserDiode, 20 Nov 2017Dude, I just read your opinion for the Xperia XZ. And I've noticed that most of your ratings a... moreThanks for the comment, man. Yeah, been using this since it was released, overheating is when you record 20-30 mins long definitely, it'll heat up a bit. Selfie is smooth, the rear camera is hell nice. I mean, to me it is. I take pictures especially outdoors and it's smoothness and the crisp of the photo is really good. I am not b*llshting. Changes and improvements will be there because of the updates.
Now it is on Android 8.0, and it's even better. The camera as I have noticed, it's waaayyy better now and specs-wise the battery is okay as it can be but it can survive with average use within a day (camera use, gaming and calls)
I recommend this because I know budget-wise it is the best that it is out there in the market. We want good cameras on a phone, fast and comfortable in the hands and yes, the XZ is here for ya brotha.
But you can try first, I am not saying this is the best. But so far, it's reliable. AND, inexpensive. :) cheers.
