[deleted post]Go elsewhere then.
And if you choose not to believe what you're say simply because you do not like what I say then that's not my problem.
I could as easily say that I doubt you have ever owned an Xperia device now couldn't I......
Bet if I was to start saying everything about this device is better than everything else out there then none of you would be questioning what I say now would you.....but that's just typical petty fanboy nonsense as usual
AnonD-624510, 25 Dec 2016My home button stopped working and the other button to the right can anyone help me please yes... moreThe home button is software, try rebooting or a factory reset. The power button is to the right, if that's not working properly and as Your obviously still within warranty.....I'd say get it looked at.
AnonD-624510, 25 Dec 2016My home button stopped working and the other button to the right can anyone help me please yes... moreWhen you say home button do y mean the power button or like the touching home button? Try factory reset and if there is any cover remove it!
AnonD-624510, 25 Dec 2016My home button stopped working and the other button to the right can anyone help me please yes... moreNot sure on the XZ, but many models you can change the buttons functions in settings. Has anyone tinkered about with your phone ? Or maybe try a factory hard reset. Just save everything first, remove sim card and SD card.
My home button stopped working and the other button to the right can anyone help me please yes it is a xz cheers. The my only gripe with phone otherwise very good..

AnonD-481725, 24 Dec 2016Z3, from two years and still prefect until now, and whenever it is serving me well i will keep it.Wouldn't you be better channeling your experiences from owning the Z3 in the Z3 forums ?. I don't see your name there.
This is the XZ forum and we really only want to hear experiences from owners of the XZ. Too many experts here already that don't even own this XZ.
AnonD-624134, 24 Dec 2016Thank you for your honest reviews of XZ. I'm considering upgrading from my Z5. Its been a go... moreSorry dude, didn't see this message until now.
Taking into account that my own time with the Z5 was extremely limited, I'll just say that aside from the camera, where the only real improvement you'll see is in focusing speed (which is nice and fast mind you), the XZ is a solid upgrade over the Z5.
The screen is excellent, honestly it can equal any on the market, don't listen to the 2k crowd this is better than the likes of the G5 screen. Battery life also is impressive will good controls over stamina extensions.
Performance has no issues, the modern Nougat Xperia skin is Probably the best android skin I have used. Speaking of Nougat Sony seems to be taking an aggressive stance when it comes to software updates, couple that with their efforts at increasing overall battery longetivity and I would say Sony have a good platform on which to build in 2017.
Personally, I don't see how you would be disappointed upgrading from the Z5 and would say go for it.

That clip proves nothing, it's just two samples thrown together. People will watch it and draw their own conclusions, and like you most will do so according to their own bias.
Better instead to go by actual reviews, like the one linked below where the reviewer (a knowledgable and experienced photographer, who does some of the most complete smartphone camera reviews on YouTube) at least mentions the quality of the slo-mo footage.
It's based on the X performance, but there's no reason to think there would be any difference in quality between it and the XZ, the part you want starts at 10:30 into the review:

AnonD-624134, 24 Dec 2016Probably going to upgrade to XZ from my trusty Z5. The 2 irritating points in my Z5 of bad bat... moreOnly real cons I can point to on this device are the camera system, and the low volume of the speakers. In both cases though their are caveats to those cons.
One is the camera isn't bad, just not up there with the majority of the competition and still has issues with thermal management. Two is that yes the volume output of the speakers is on the low side, but not overly so and the sound quality is actually very good.
All other aspects of this phone are copacetic, and I think a worthy upgrade over the Z5.
AnonD-481725, 24 Dec 2016Great, very interesting :D.It is yes. What's more interesting is that even though you and Tann Hauser are busy policing this comments section for opinions you don't like, questioning my objectivity and my honesty, turns out it seems neither of you actually own an Xeperia XZ.........very interesting.
