Lex79, 13 Jan 2017Such a grudge that I have bought several of their devices over the years.............yeah........ moreBut refer all your reply and comments from last to now, I can found that you are a bad/fake XZ user.
Josephkarthic, 14 Jan 2017What in your opinion is the fastest focusing camera? I would like to buy a camera phone with t... moreS7, no question, but the XZ would be a close second in the devices I have used.
Like I said earlier, motion blur will always be an issue in all but direct sunlight especially where kids are involved.
But the 'launch-focus-shoot-process-view' sequence is overall faster on the S7 than the XZ, and the S7 will burst shoot 100 frames in around 10 seconds, i always found that there was least one keeper in among those when I had that device
What in your opinion is the fastest focusing camera? I would like to buy a camera phone with the fastest auto focusiing possible without blurring images..My kid is super fast.. :)
AnonD-151883, 14 Jan 2017Agree 100%. Sony should be able to bulilt phones with higher specs. Its 2016/7 now and they ... moreLike I said, dont see the need for Sony to go amoled with their displays.
Wish they would rethink their camera approach though. Cramming all those pixels onto what is still ultimately a small sensor introduces more issues than benefits. If they dropped to 12-16mp range, introduced OIS (mainly for stills) I think you would see a vast improvement.
And yes the speakers could be just a bit louder :)

Carrie, 14 Jan 2017So which phone you are using.is it perfect? Do you personally have xz and find too much fault ... moreI never have just one phone, but currently my main device is the XZ.
No it isn't perfect, that doesn't and never will exist.
Overall I like it a lot, and am not regretting the choice, I was drawn to it in the end by Sony's new commitment to improved software support and perhaps bought the device with somewhat low expectations due to past disappointment with Xperia's.
Have been pleasantly surprised so far however. In my opinion this device has only one real weakness, the camera. Again, that's my opinion, and it's mostly because my own personal use case tends to play towards all the weak areas of this camera set up.
I tend to be taking mostly impromptu quick shots of my young children, they don't stay still so you have to be quick. Whilst the XZ is fast to launch and focus the camera, there is still a good degree of motion blur present in many of the shots I get. There is no longer a burst mode in the Xperia camera software (it seemed to disappear with the Marshmallow builts of the Xperia software) and as there is a delay in the processing of the finished jpeg, shot to shot time is slow, too slow.
To be fair, motion blur is an isssue in all smartphone cameras in less than perfect conditions, but the likes of the iPhone and S7 (and to a lesser extend the G5) have really fast burst modes that do help.
Because I have gotten more shots that I have had to delete from the XZ than I did from those others devices in similar situations and because I'm still seeing far more noise in the shots (to the extent that it negates the advantage of the increased detail offered by the 23mp resolution) that I would like, I personally cannot say I'm happy with the camera.
So if there is one regret and disappointment, it's that. In all other areas this device is the real deal.
AnonD-608546, 14 Jan 2017Not required, But my first impression was when open the box and got the XZ on my hands was big... moreYou take the XZ out of the box, and its a rectangular thin phone. Screen on front with capactive buttons with selfie camera. Buttons on the sides. Camera and flash on the back, right ?????
Thats the same as every other phone...Whats to get excited about that ? You can have a personal choice of colours, like any other brand of phone...Whats to get excited about that ?
How about a pure gold Rolex watch ? Thats excitment ! A very special item. A $600 phone is nothing, anybody can buy that....nothing special, nothing to brag about, does the same as any other recent phone... Surely, you have more in your life that just a phone to brag about ?
AnonD-608546, 14 Jan 2017No need lot's of examples to explain Sony's high standards, when all the other OEM's try copy ... moreSony have stuck to their own design language true, and I commend them for sticking to their guns.
That doesn't mean though that I believe that design language to be perfect, it has pro's and cons like everything thing else and it's not my favourite design personally (am speaking though of ergonomics, not materials).
I'd explain why, but that would just be taken as hating and trolling and some kind of grudge or other such childish nonsense......so let's just leave it there.
AnonD-608546, 14 Jan 2017Not required, But my first impression was when open the box and got the XZ on my hands was big... moreAnd your first impressions have to be the same as mine because...........?
I paid almost £500 for this thing, good design and quality is expected!!!!!! So it doesn't come as a surprise to me.
The day I pay £150 for a device and its as well built as the XZ, then you may see me commenting enthusiastically on it.
AnonD-151883, 14 Jan 2017Agree 100%. Sony should be able to bulilt phones with higher specs. Its 2016/7 now and they ... moreThere's runners that a number of lens are going to switch to oled based displays in the near future, Apple and Sony are the most prominent.
In both cases, I wouldn't mind if they didn't bother and stuck with their current display tech, the screen on this XZ is amazing, might even be the best mobile LCD based panel I've seen (including the ip7), and is easily as good as any amoled in my opinion.
Oh and pssst.....I just gave the XZ some more praise, but don't tell the fanboys, it only seems to confuse them ;)
Lex79, 13 Jan 2017Such a grudge that I have bought several of their devices over the years.............yeah........ moreSo which phone you are using.is it perfect? Do you personally have xz and find too much fault in it? Since personally I have and even th it not perfect but for me it was good enough and for the price I paid 49k it make me very happy.sorry if you had problem since it really hurts if you paid that much and still it doesn't satisfy you and if you don't have then first try it.
Lex79, 13 Jan 2017Such a grudge that I have bought several of their devices over the years.............yeah........ moreNo need lot's of examples to explain Sony's high standards, when all the other OEM's try copy Iphone design, copy each other's designs again and again for their marketing strategies, Sony kept their own design language with unique solid designs specially for flagships.
Lex79, 13 Jan 2017No I didn't forget, just haven't passed any comment on it.......Was I required to or something? Not required, But my first impression was when open the box and got the XZ on my hands was big surprise what a beauty it is.
Lex79, 13 Jan 2017Such a grudge that I have bought several of their devices over the years.............yeah........ moreAgree 100%. Sony should be able to bulilt phones with higher specs. Its 2016/7 now and they are way behind.
Seems Sony phones will finally change over to OLED in 2107. Battery life is finally good with XZ. Maybe increase speaker volume and improve low light photography. Change their camera sensor to IMX290/1. Remove the usless camera button. Move volume rocker up higher. Increase screen resolution.
Lex79 user posts negative comments about Sony and wants to confuse people. Be aware. No one can confuse me. I've used other brand phones but they can't stand against much smoother and user friendly Sony phones.
Cali , 13 Jan 2017Totally agree. Cool, and seeing as how we are playing the 'name each other's devices' game, I'm going to say you are a Nokia Asha 201 user.

Actually I just hold Sony to a very high standard and am therefor critical when I think they fall short of my expectations.....but if it simpler for you lot (and I can tell that thinking along simplistic lines is something of a trend for many on here) to just think I am a troll with a grudge....then be my guests :)

Tann Hauser, 13 Jan 2017Indeed. Indicative. B-) Most probably just a 1+3 user.Totally agree.
