Sony's Xperia XZ Premium will receive the update to Android 8.0 Oreo in December. That's at least true for units sold in Japan, the company's home country, since that's where the information comes from. In other parts of the globe, the rollout may start sooner than that, or later. WOHOO YES!

AnonD-392500, 16 Oct 2017There are bloatwares, even more than galaxy phones.
Bloatwares-
Google - docs, sheets, slide... moreYes, you are correct. Unfortunately, Sony phones have the most Bloatware. Even worse, is that this software can't be uninstalled and soon slows things down and lag and stuttering occurs.
This is quite strange as most other brands allow you to uninstall the factory bloatware.

Furthermore, the Sony already use Qnovo for it smartphone but Vaio doesn't. After Xperia had adopt Qnovo do you heard any explode news? IF NOT, why you can trolling Sony with Qnovo technology? and the iphone 8 battery swelled why you dont troll it? why Samsung Note 7 explode you dont troll it?

"Users have started to complain and report a lens distortion issue with the new flagships.
Apparently, there's some trouble there. User posts on the official Sony Mobile forums as well as on XDA Developers show numerous pictures of test grids and other everyday objects that should appear straight. However, they do not. And the issue is not just around the edges of the photographs — there seems to be a concentric ripple effect going through the image with only the middle being perfectly straight and the other portions suffering some form of distortion.
This is unflattering to faces, as it can contribute to “big nose” or “egghead” effect and is definitely not ideal for capturing simple compositions where there isn't much going on to distract the brain.
Alas, the distortion seems to be here to stay for this generation of Sony flagships. Maybe it will be fixed with the next models ?"

Unlike you, I don't give an opinion, I give hard facts from recognized sites. You opinion is useless here againt the USA Govt Consumer Product Safety Comission. I'm sorry if the truth upsets you so much, but my advice is to just accept the truth and just move on in life.

You made me think that instead of focusing on smartphone issues we should take care of human issues.

Your link also said “Best Smartphone of 2016” was Samsung Galaxy S7. Thats the "BEST" phone for the ENTIRE YEAR of 2016. Best phone for 2017 has NOT been given yet and you can bet that Sony will NOT receive that award.
2015 MWC Best Smartphone was Apple iPhone 6.

Sony is quite the opposite and just denies known faults. Although its 14 million exploding battery recall from 2006 is still ongoing.
The latest officall Sony recall is February 7, 2017. Recall number: 17-732
