Who's copying now?
Tann Hauser, 04 May 2017Sammy doesnt care about optimisation. All it cares is stuffing its touchwizz with ridiculous ... moreSo shipping your phones with essential apps like a music player, an internet browser, a health and fitness app, a mobile wallet payment app, a voice recorder app, a notetaking app, and a game center app for the convenience of its users that they never have to look for and download buggy and unoptimized apps loaded with tons of ads in the Play Store is a bad thing? It's obvious you have never used a Samsung Galaxy phone. Apart from the ones I've mentioned above, there are no other Samsung propreitary apps preinstalled on Galaxy phones. What's preinstalled instead are Google apps that apart from Gmail and Maps are all inferior to their Samsung counterparts. Samsung's Internet browser, Music player, Gallery, Samsung Pay, Samsung Health are all superior to Chrome, Play Music, Photos, Android Pay and Google Fit. Even Samsung's clock, memo, voice recorder apps are better and has more features and nicer interface than Google ones. Those Google apps and the Microsoft office apps which come preinstalled with Samsung phones are what I call bloatwares. I never use them apart from Gmail and Maps. At least Samsung Galaxy phones don't come with utter useless apps like Amazon app. Samsung invests big time both in hardware and software development. Unlike certain others, they don't rely on Google or some 3rd party developers to provide their smartphones with core services and functionalities.

My friends has s7 edge and my bro had the xz that why. As for me I have z3 and going to upgrade but I'm not a blind fanboy so waiting for review of some other phone and xzs to see by myself.
BTW I have seen the s8 also in store
Anonymous, 03 May 2017XZs killed S8 with its weaker hardware. Because of perfect software optimisation.Or just look at S8 lockscreen.
If it werent for that bad elongated screen and design, you would mistake it for an Xperia, with sofware buttons and clock design and all...
If you havent noticed, Sony has to change the Clock design every year, as it knows there is a little Sammy peeker always present.
Anonymous, 03 May 2017XZs killed S8 with its weaker hardware. Because of perfect software optimisation.Sammy doesnt care about optimisation. All it cares is stuffing its touchwizz with ridiculous amount of apps to impress guilable people.
Just look up Thumbsignin app on plystore....
It exists prior than added to toucwzz...
And its the same story with every added feature app in touchwizz.
Even if copying patentd, Sammy doesnt care, earns so much on guilable, it doesnt care of being sued or not...
There is a Sammy army obviously, searchin all over the net for some poor guys( trying to earn some money) ideas to steal and incorporate into their software, as to "impress" fnboys like these, so they would come here and talk, talk, talk of the "feature and innovation greatness" of Sammys touchwizz... the most copycat UI of all.
Anonymous, 03 May 2017XZs killed S8 with its weaker hardware. Because of perfect software optimisation.Sony phones have ugly almost non-existent animations that's why they seem faster. Samsung Galaxies have sophisticated longer animations by default that's why it takes time opening apps. But that can be reduced or even turned off in the settings. XZs killed nothing. S8 runs circles over it. Even the one-year old S7 is better than the XZs.

And furthermore, by downloaded apps like UC Browser, and ... moreBless your soul if you think that free apps with low ratings on Play Store created by some anonymous persons can replicate exactly the very functionality and experience you will get from cutting-edge features that a large company with thousands of great engineers has invested a lot of money and time in development. You really think that cheap 3rd party apps riddled with annoying ads and are not even optimized for every smartphone are perfect substitutes for core OS features?

And Xperias being most stable android phones.... those app features work seemless and better than on any touchwizz.
You really talk too much, for someone who doesnt know squat about anything other than Samsung.
A definition of Sammy fnboy.

Even if you find 3rd party apps for some of these features, they don't integrate well into the OS. The experience one gets in using these features in a Galaxy phone is so seamless that it feels like using an advanced version of Android. One cannot possibly go back to a crippled stock Android after using a Galaxy phone.

They don't appear as separate icons in the app drawer. Having an option to integrate a dictionary app in the copy/paste feature for easy word searching is not a bloatware. It's a function. Having the option to view your apps and video player as a popup window and resize them is a function, not a bloatware. Having the option to save any video from any streaming site natively in the browser is a function, not a bloatware. Having the option to control the intensity of the torch directly in the quick settings panel with just a long press same for blue light filter is a function, not a bloatware. Having the option to login to your account in any site in the browser using only your fingerprint is a function, not a bloatware. Having the option to reduce the screen resolution for better gaming/battery performance is a function, not a bloatware. Having the option to hide and lock your personal/private data is a function, not a bloatware. Having the option to resize the display for one-handed use is a function, not a bloatware. Having the option to organize all your games in one app and control certain phone behaviour while playing games is a function, not a bloatware. Having the option to automatically increase the brightness and contrast of the screen in HDR-like fashion while watching videos in any video app including 3rd party ones is a function, not a bloatware. Having the option to see the time, date and notifications on the screen without touching the phone and even interact with them without unlocking it is a function, not a bloatware. You won't find 3rd party equivalents for most of these functions for your empty, featureless phones. And even stock Android won't implement most of these features until after 5 years.
