I am going to sell off this sony phone no more sony in future going back to HTC or Nokia.
The Rev, 27 May 2014This question is for the people who updated their xperia Z to 4.4.2 ! Guys do you advice me to... moreUpdates usually depend on your region but with kitkat almost any region got the same laggy and power hungry update. Some only get the battery drain issue, some say they only get the lag issue, some get both. 4.3 jelly bean is the best os they made. Personally, I'd just stick to it. with almost 9/10 comments I see about the kitkat update are negative, there's just no way I'm updating. Unless you know how to root or flash your phone, 4.3 jb is still the best. My xz never had any problems with it. Now, if you do know how to root your phone then by all means try out the kitkat update, you can just downgrade it back to 4.3 if you don't like it.
hi guys i wanna know that what's the different between 6603 and 6602 plz help me!?!!:)

Friends i bought the sonyexperia z1 last month and got some problem in the simcard holder while inserting the sim. Then when i took the mobile to the service center to repair it the reply i got was " Sorry we dont have equipment to open the mobile So you can pay us 18000 Rupees so that we can replace the old one with the new one..!!! i was pissed off of their response and the mobile is lying in my cabinet without any use. So my sincere request to the readers to reconsider before you buy this phone. NO SERVICE / NO CUSTOMER CARE / SIMPLY WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY....

Hello Xperia Z users,
I just want to give you guys some tips in using the CAMERA. I'm a former Xperia L user with an 8MP Camera. I have some fascinating shots with just an 8MP camera with the Exmor RS sensor. How did I do it? Simple.
1. Always shoot against the light.
2. Use of touch focus feature.
If you are going to take a landscape shot, don't tap to look for a focus. For Portrait enthusiasts, make sure to focus on the Head rather than the body. For Macro users, always make sure that your target is not moving.
3. One thing I have learned and have experienced using all Smartphones, there are some that has slower and some has faster SHUTTER SPEED. I compared this with a friend's Samsung Galaxy S4. The S4 has a faster shutter speed and actually all Samsung Products has. Xperia Phones with Exmor RS sensors are different, they are slower. Why? Because they are still processing the image after you press the Shutter Key. What I usually do is, make sure you update the phone to Android 4.2 or later to get the Superior Auto feature. Just set to Superior Auto, then make sure that Image Stabilizer is turned ON. ISO is either automatic or 100 (for outdoors and daylight). Now, every time you take a shot, make sure to HOLD STLL your phone for 2-3 seconds after pressing the Shutter Button. HOLD which I mean DO NOT SHAKE YOUR HANDS WHILE HOLDING THE PHONE. This is to make sure that you shoot what you to get. This is also a requirement for Portrait and Macro shooters.
