PK, 29 Apr 2014and battery backup bro.Battery backup is good enough. I'm leaving in the morning 8am and the phone is a whole day on wifi. Every half an hour I'm browsing 5-10 min, checking social networks... When I come back at home at 5pm the battery is on 75%. If you play games active battery will go flat after few hours. For me it's good enough cuz it last me full day.
PeterIT, 29 Apr 2014I bought Xperia Z in June last year. Till now no problems at all. Go for it. Cheersand battery backup bro.
bungaldo14, 29 Apr 2014Sorry bro, i thought you were an Indonesian ;) well how did your cousin upgrade it into OS 4.3?Via PC companion

Doesnt matter, 28 Apr 2014Hey look, im about to buy a new phone and i know the xperia z is old and there are two models ... morei'm using Xperia Z Lte, i've been using it for a month and there's no problems at all. well the OS is still 4.1.2 but Sony Center said it's gonna up grade it to Kit Kat this May anyway, so be patience ;)
if you looking for browsing internet and gaming 24/7, this is not the phone you're looking for, because the phone is easily hot on the battery, and it drains fast.. this phone is more about the looks, simplicity, comfort when you are holding it... and of course for a Sony lover :D
it's your choice bro
adi, 28 Apr 2014bro i'm not from indonesia, i'm from pakistan
few days ago i used my cousin's xperia z c6603 ... moreSorry bro, i thought you were an Indonesian ;)
well how did your cousin upgrade it into OS 4.3?
is it worth to buy xperia z or zperia zl? because i dont really mind about that waterproof thing.
a little tip to anyone who plans to buy this phone, do not buy it because of its water resistant feature. submerging it under water from time to time sustains pressure so over time the water resistant really just disappears. and do not push its water resistant feature to its limits. do not submerge it under water for over 3 feet and no longer than 10minutes, otherwise you'll just be disappointed.
I never cared about the water resistant feature. I don't plan on using it under water. I just wanted a good smartphone with a classy look and can function well on my needs (email, messaging and calls). 5 weeks old now and not a single problem on how I use it.
Guys i am existing user of Xperia z....bt me facing much prob of heating phone...can ny1 suggest something regarding it!!
dnt waste ur money on this phone. ive got dis mob a month back and nw its completely dead. the so called water resistant is no more water resistant. thers a manufacturing defect in this mob by which d water enters into the mob from the back pannel left side (camera side) n d warranty doesn cover it. such a waste.
beryfixe, 28 Apr 2014Should i buy this phone or the Nexus 5, the sony's is older but the specs are higher, i dont r... moreboth phones will probably get newer updates, specs-wise the Nexus 5 wins. the only downside to it is its storage, you can only choose between a 16gb or a 32gb unit. unlike xperia Z who has expandable memory. and its camera has lower resolution, which is 8mp. but then again, I'm not that impressed with xperia Z's camera even though it is 13mp. high resolution doesn't mean high quality anyway.
I went with xperia Z cause I prefer the look of it and I'm not a heavy user so I really don't need a device too powerful. I mainly use my phone for just calls, messaging and email. other features are practically just a bonus for me. it really falls down to your "needs" and "wants" on a smartphone.
Ashlei, 28 Apr 2014What is the chip on the back of the phone for?it's just an indicator on where the NFC scanner is (used for smart tags). I removed the one mine cause I installed a matt screen protector and I think it's just an eyesore.

Should i buy this phone or the Nexus 5, the sony's is older but the specs are higher, i dont really know which will last longer so.. if you guys could help me that'd be great. (i look for a phone that will give me no problems at all (like if that was possible.. and for a phone that will last longer w/ newer updates)
