But if you're using LTE, signal is LTE and the term is 4G. If you're using a Globe simcard, there's no LTE for Globe prepaid, only in Postpaid. That's why we are using Smart sim since they have LTE for Smart prepaid.
Anonymous, 20 Feb 2014Hi Jing,
I don't think that you understand the issue of the micro usb port being symmetrica... moreI know the issue of the port~
Please re-read my post~
I was teaching people how to identify the top and bottom of the MicroUSB Male Head...
Ever since USB port was created~
ALL the cable covers will be labelled with the USB icon to indicate the TOP of the head....
Users just need to confirm that the icon is facing upwards then plug-in~
That will be almost ZERO possibility to damage the port...
I tried myself to do the other way round~
But without brute force you can't plug-in the MicroUSB Male Head...
You can see that the Female Chip Pin is actually lying on the bottom~
With the Icon and the shape you can't be wrong...
How hard can it be?
Alej, 19 Feb 2014Question, is H+ the same as 3G? I never experienced the icon 3G yet thanks :) plus LTE for glo... moreH+ is much faster than 3G.. Way much faster.. You can compare speeds on speedtest's app. It basically means, the service speed available to you if you want to use the net. Usually inner city areas offer H+, and outer areas like in the provinces might only have 3G coverage .
Anomynous, 17 Feb 2014With or without LTE? Battery drain with mobile data on does in part relate to signal quality a... morenion i guess it's not about the services of either network, but on the settings you did on the phone. Regardless of either LTE or 3G, if The mobile data stream is active even when the phone is on idle mode, the battery doesn't last a whole day. Battery life depends on the owners usage of the phone. I medium-heavy user like me (games, surfing, other apps), battery life is less than a day.
anyone can help me regarding my XZ I use pc companion to update my phone 4.1 - 4.3. but now I can reinstall my pc companion it says error.. what happening?
JingXiang Lim, 18 Feb 2014I knew all these problems since this awesome smartphone released~
Me myself never face this p... moreHi Jing,
I don't think that you understand the issue of the micro usb port being symmetrical so that the male micro usb pin can fit either way into the port. If you have a look at every other phone, the micro usb is asymmetrical so that the male micro usb pin can fit in only one way.
Anyway, please have aread through that thread on sony forum so that you understand the issue better:

i see a buch of user complaining about the port for charge, actually i have an Xperia tx lt29 an it have the same square port! not with the shape of micro usb.
i already used my xperia a year and a half from now and no problems, or maybe the people who have this problem connect the micro usb to the port with eyes closed.
Sony need to improve battery power and use corning gorilla glass in smartphone.

It's ok now, if there's no LTE in the location, it is automatically turned to 3G. It causes delay that's why I thought I have no 3G signal. When I was using a Globe Sim, 3G signal is real-time when turned-on. Thanks for your help, really appreciate it.
My xz has a red warning says mobile data limit exceeded, how can I remove that?
