AnonD-101144, 05 Apr 2013downloaded already but still cannot move to sd card...In every thread there is someone who ask this about all phones, and there is ALWAYS someone using an older phone who say "download app2sd", and they are always wrong. You cant move apps to sd, not on this and not on Galaxy S3, S4, whatever.
You can however root your phone and create symbolic links in the app folders, there are even some apps for it. Rooting isnt very desirable but there you have the option.
AnonD-252, 04 Apr 20132 plastic layers, a screen protector and a shatter protection, sounds like a rather fragile sc... moreThe Screen Glass is not Fragile, It's the Dragintail Glass, it's even Stronger than Gorilla Glass.
But Sony put a Shatter Proof Screen on top of it (to protect, incase of very high impact on glass & galss break into peices ),
this shatter Proof screen gets scratches, & this screen has no replacements as well, (if you get too many scratches (say 10-12 months usage), you will have to remove it, but it holds the Beautiful SONY logo on it, so you'll sacrifice the SONY logo from your phone if you remove the shatter proof screen)
So what can we do to protect the Anti-Shatter Screen?
Answer: put a Normal Screen protector on it,
(Anti-Glare would be great Because im using that now)
Sony Xperia Z case + wireless charging
AnonD-102272, 04 Apr 2013For your knowledge all the commercial electronic components works in the range of 0 °C to ... moreNo. Intel processors are made to shut down at 105 Celsius, in the time it takes for it to shut down it could reach more than 120 Celsius, and even then it has a very big safety margin. Some so-called hotspots within the processor can reach much higher temperature but it's ok since even above 150 Celsius is well within safe limits.
You are talking operating range, not internal temperatures. I think most of us have seen the video of the Chinese who boil his Xperia Z, 100 Celsius, that's really nothing for an electronic device, the only problem would be amoled displays, they can't handle as high heat as LCD, I have seen a heat damaged galaxy S2,
AnonD-102272, 04 Apr 2013yeah, dragontail is strong. I drop my xperia z so many times nothing happens(I mean not crack)... moreI think it was not the Glass,
but the Shatter proof screen, you could have put a screen protector
Anonymous, 05 Apr 2013Get it!! I think this update will fix the buNo drastic change I guess, the loudspeaker improvement is what you will notice the most. If your phone does not suffer from sudden death you dont need to update it, sudden death only affects very few units, no worries.
[deleted post]It's about to overtake S4 on daily interest, that's quite impressive. Maybe people aren't so interested in TripAdvisor deep integration after all ahah. S4 software package is really so tasteless and unwanted, and in addition it's packed in a plastic shell designed a year ago. No need to wonder why it is falling so fast on daily interest.
Great device puts samy to shame, god help s4, 2013 belongs to sony, mark my word
AnonD-130819, 05 Apr 2013Oh god...! What's this ? Unbelievable selling Mass hit of Xperia z in 2013. Xperia z is N... moredo you know anything about the number of XZ units sold by Sony so far? im really interested to know how many Sony has sold in 2 months.
Its Gorilla Glass on the back and Dragon Trail on the front...inside the Dragon Trail, there is a thin layer that Sony give to all their Xperia Phones which they call a shatter proof skin, and after that there is the screen.
Dude my Xperia Neo V never breaks, not even cracks a bit when i drop it. (i drop it a lot..and those are deadly drops i tell you), and you are talking about XZ being fragile...come on...
use XZ you don't care about water so we can capture full HD in swimming pool. good work from Sony..will be the best selling smartphone 2013.
AnonD-101144, 05 Apr 2013hi all, i just want to ask why is it my xperia z have only 11.73GB internal storage and i have... more11.73 gig? Thats the norm for the 16 gb xperia z. I own one and my phone's storage has the exact same amount as yours. This is normal because you'll never get a full 16 gb as advertised with other smartphones as well not only this xperia. Thats just how it works. And as for the sd card problem, you could just download some apps of google play, you could find tonnes like the app2sd application. Try searching

AnonD-252, 04 Apr 20132 plastic layers, a screen protector and a shatter protection, sounds like a rather fragile sc... morePlastic layers? LOL, dude get your facts straight. It's Dragontrail glass, which is on par with Corning Gorilla Glass 2! Of course if you consider Samsung and Apple using plastic layers as their screen, then yes, I've gotta agree.
It's far from break proof and certainly not scratch proof or whatever either. No screens are and unless you'd like to walk around with a rubber handset you'd better get used to "fragile" mobiles.
