[deleted post]Oh, Sebastian. You use Smartcom too now? Stop your shenanigans.
AnonD-111968, 23 Mar 2013I wish sony will release a smaller Z sibling with 4.6 " screen 720p or 1080p, waterproof ... moreLooks like there will be a 4.8 inch 1080, not that much smaller, and IP57 rating is still unknown but i would be surprised if not.
Anyway, Z doesnt feel like a big phone, the flat sides gives it a very sure and relaxing grip, its really easy to grip, you never worry about it slipping. I seen reviews about how nice and comfortable grip the Xperia V has with its Arc shape, but i bag to differ, the Z is better, similar to iphone with flat sides to give it better handling. As phones get slimmer the need for flat sides increases.

Your drama of Note II to the Xperia Z comparison is trit... moreYou are correct ahah. Btw, drawings of Anne Hathaway?? How dope is that, its like the beginners guide to MSDOS equivalent, and it goes like this:
ECHO Hello World
Im happy that the Z makes you feel so threatened, adds some quality to your misery. The best thing is that you hate the Z for no good reason, its the best and you know it, and it is eating you ahah.
Note 2... LoL
How i wish Sony can implement Bravia engine all through out the UI not only on viewing pictures and videos. But i believe it will deplete battery so fast.
Stuck pixel, can it b rectified by software, i doubt, because its stuck on white and the color wont change, its visible on black background, shines like a diamond and is quite irritating
Anonymous, 23 Mar 2013Yes the battery is excellent, for its size it is better than the note 2, totally amazing. So h... moreSebastian, Sebastian, Sebastian...
Your drama of Note II to the Xperia Z comparison is trite. You have already stated that the XZ is the most formidable device to date, in your own precept of course. But you seem to need to always compare to other devices, preferrably what you have consciously, willingly paid for and knowingly what S AMOLED is - the Galaxy Note II.
Spasmodic as some of the expert reviews of the XZ are (even with GSM Arenas own reviews), you have proven in various forum topics that:
1. The 1080p screen is absolutely stunning without grayish or washed out colors - you can now read text than from a 720p screen.
2. Battery is now excellent - without a doubt or any questions for an entire day.
3. The waterproofing works - you poured cold beer on it.
4. Despite any premise of a photographer's career, you have surmised the camera is excellent, and taking lots of pictures at a party proves the battery is reliable for important moments in life.
5. It's a chick magnet - girls actually started to ask about your XZ.
6. All other non-XZ devices, but excluding the Xperia Pro is unreliable - even some of Sony's few months old models.
7. All my drawings/paintings that I've done with the Note II are fake, and that the I, as you have regularly called a con artist, with your expressed command cannot show any of my process screen shots because I have lifted them from Drawing for Dummies.
I guess that settled everything.
But sony just like Samsung is giving poor customer service, Samsung can survive it, but sony watch out u r still way behind, infact u should provide excellent service, so v spread the word, but it upto sony india
Sony service says no, one dead pixel is acceptable they say, thats astonishing reply from sony India, its a defect and they wont acknowledge, anyway i will sell ot soon, go for htc one rather, hopefully i will get a perfect screen this time
I wish sony will release a smaller Z sibling with 4.6 " screen 720p or 1080p, waterproof dust proof,Lengnt
Upgrade from iPhone 4S to the Z. Totally amazing phone. Screen quality is super sharp, battery life is shocking good (2 whole days(, and in summary... a must have!!
Anon, 23 Mar 2013Are you sure you own the Xperia Z? It has notification light but if you switch the phone to st... moreNice to know, makes sense that they disable the notiled to save battery. I have not yet needed the Stamina Mode so i didnt know. Thanx.
AnonD-100040, 23 Mar 2013they should replace it. that is a factory defect. i've encountered that on my xperia mini pro ... moreThey should, yes, but they dont have to. It depends on the country as well, but in general there are rules for how many dead or stuck pixels the customer can be forced to accept, and it also depends on where on the display they are. Display manufacturers should have been forced to manufacture only perfect displays but the system puts the problems unto the innocent paying customer.
Often the store will be the one to give you a new, no need to mess with official warranty and whatever, but again, depends on the country.
mia, 23 Mar 2013i am use also z but no sms or miscall notification light there , sony make big phone but no sm... moreAre you sure you own the Xperia Z? It has notification light but if you switch the phone to stamina mode it does not work. Turn off stamina mode and the notification light works fine and is multi coloured. I have never had a problem with my Xperia Z and do not know anyone who has! People do please stop trolling as I believe Samsung and HTC have their own pages. Goodbye....
Silva, 23 Mar 2013FAULTY Production ! just bought yesterday and can't switch on as screen goes blank today morning.Plug in the charger, then wait a little, and do a hard reset (press and hold power + vol.up buttons).
Today visited a major outlet and compared the display of my Xperia s and Xperia z... Was disappointed by the display of Xperia z... We played the same video on both.:/ 1920x1080 resolution... The Xperia z display looked washed out and viewing angles are the worst... I thought my Xperia s was bad but now it's a charm... The Xperia s display looked much much better... Those who want can compare... I personally want gsmarena and xperiablog to make a video comparing the display of Xperia s and Xperia S....
