Wadimati, 18 Mar 2013I have had many phones with native video calling, but i have made only one video call in my wh... morethen why can't sony give a damn try to put this feature? just let us say as a bonus feature. you will never know when you are out of hotspots which are basically true when you are in remote areas and you are left alone with super fast networks like 3G or 4G. So you will feel you kind a loser in that sense finding your phone out of the crowd. As front cameras are approaching higher megapixels, then it would be very fun having the person from the other line just like they sitting next to you.
rahul, 18 Mar 2013just correct the screen type to super amoled screen with led..why? to focus on blacks and have a greyscale of shit with no vivid colors, with no brightness?
Sony put their TV´s technology on this phone, not like samsplastic.

ThomasCarlsson, 18 Mar 2013Many reviewers agree with me, here is another http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hKH6yAVNs4 Still trolling this blog? You really must love the Xperia Z, how else would you explain dedicating all this time to a phone you don't rate! Keep trolling as trolling becomes you, sir!

xz10, 18 Mar 2013does the handset get hot very quickly ?? is it a problem worth worrying??Not as hot as the Nexus 4 and definitely not worth worrying about. The heat is down to the processor rather than the phone and is not a manufacturer specific issue.
Hi guys, i have read that xperia v is water proof even on gsmarena, and xperia z is water resistance, does that mean X z can get water some how if you stay with it in water for long, am intrested to knw if its accualy water resistant or water proof.
rahul, 18 Mar 2013just correct the screen type to super amoled screen with led..And to prove how little you know you even write "Super Amoled with led". You dont even know that amoled displays has no backlight, and you want to state your expert opinion on things you have no clue about?
rahul, 18 Mar 2013just correct the screen type to super amoled screen with led..Why is it so hard to read, when tests already shown that Z has better display than Galaxy S4, whats the problem?
I had Note 2 before the Z, the Z has so much better display, amoled is so bad, i will never have amoled phone again. The incomplete greyscale make you lose alot of detail in dark areas of photos and videos, there is loads of videos on youtube that will show you this, for example Galaxy S3 vs Xperia T, its a well known fact that Amoled is VERY bad at this.
does the handset get hot very quickly ?? is it a problem worth worrying??
emrause, 18 Mar 2013Hi...
I'm a SonyEricsson user. Actually I'm going to buy Xperia Z soon.
I just wanted to... moreThats true, the viewing angle is not an issue. Compared to Xperia Mini the Z has a much thinner display, screen content will appear as almost on the surface, so in fact it has better viewing angles than Xperia Mini.
The only Xperia i have used where viewing angle was a real problem was Xperia Tipo, lets just say there are good reasons why the Tipo is living in a box, and its not even my spare phone. It has acceptable performance, some lag problems, games are good, but the display is... Very sad.
Analyst: Galaxy S4 could help Samsung
overtake Apple in high-end smartphone
According to estimates put forth by analysis firm Nomura , Samsung’s
recently announced Galaxy S4 might be just the thing the company needs
to finally propel it past Apple to become the world’s top vendor of high-
end smartphones. Samsung has held the claim of top mobile
manufacturer globally for several quarters, but the Korean company has
fallen short in one key area: while Samsung has moved tens of millions of
Galaxy S and Galaxy Note handhelds, Apple’s iPhone continues to outsell
Nomura projects that Samsung could move between 35 million and 40
million Galaxy S4 and Note 2 handsets combined, finally pushing ahead
of Apple’s iPhone sales figures in 2013. The company notes, however,
that the GS4 is more “evolutionary” than “revolutionary,” a sentiment
echoed by many. Still, the firm sees the upgrades over last year’s model
as enough to entice plenty of users around the globe.
The rise in market dominance means Apple and Samsung will have to
compete on more than just features, which Nomura analysts believe
could trigger a pricing war that would work in the favor of the consumer
as the two powerhouse companies attempt to undercut the competition.

deep 1974, 18 Mar 2013If its really gorilla glass why screen guards? You can ask that to my Note 2 with a big scratch. Gorilla glass is hopelessly weak. I been using my Z without any special care, only thing i am careful about is to keep it away from drunk people with cigarettes, no scratches yet. These are not the regular plastic protectors you had on Nokia 5800, i dont know what these are made of but they are strong.
By the way, an extra set of protectors were included in the box, but that depends on where in the world you buy the Z.
Have heard that Xperia Z gets heated up pretty quickly. Could anyone please let me know if faced with such circumstances?
