Anonymous, 09 Mar 2013I dont know hat to say about the photo comparison tool here, but the camera is not that good, ... moreyour opinion seems to be biased. before u comment you should have tested. samsung camera is crap. its bullshit. I am photographer and I do a lot of editing. I own arc S before before I changed to GSIII, my frient has iphone 4s then changed to iphone 5 and his girlfriend has note III. when u compare a picture, should be brought into a retina LCD laptop. Try it. you will see the difference. LCD of samsung are liars of true colors. apple and sony is wyswyg. and i have tried xperia T with my friend, arc s was better. iphone 4s and arc s has almost the same camera quality, that 8mp thing. I don't know why sony tried that 13MP with doubtful algorithm in rgb. have you tried to compare images from iPhone5 and 4s? come on, see the difference. I am a huge fan of sony and im dying to buy xperia T or Z, but it seems the camera becomes a failure. I wish i can have krait pro of 4.55" 16gb version of arc s with same design. I don't care if it has physical keys. its heaven anyway.
AnonD-66043, 09 Mar 2013Pictures do come classy but even upon little Zooming its blurry what i mean to say detail on... morereally? much less life than arc s? thats what i am afraid of. i am an avid fan of sony, I had arc s before i gave it to my sister, the camera was stunning. I went to the desert, did photograph in a bright sun light, it handled properly. then i am waiting for the xperia T, my friend has his... but i was disappointed with the quality. His OS is current 4.1.1 but the color is a bit of LOMO. the RGB isn't perfectly handled. I am even fine with the 8MP thing with such excellent quality than a crappy 13MP. iPhone 4s and Arc S has almost the same quality, We tested it, of course they have they same sensor. What i mean is, the algorithm used in both phones where in perfections rather than this 13MP crappy experimental thing. I hate it. Even iPhone 5 is crappy. 4s was better. I bet you. make a test of it. But I just notice with the new arc s bought a month ago the image was a bit noisy. I think something is happening under the table.

No, your photography career is nonexistent, Sebastian.
Sony xperia z, s the best phone I ever used.... the only disadvantage s itz not hvein a led backlit display, rather a capacitive display 16m,,,,,,,,, y?

AnonD-66043, 09 Mar 2013Got this phone yesterday i've been playing with it since then...
Everything ... moreWow, you were able to see that just by looking at the pictures it took?
No human eye can tell a camera's pixel count unless you printed a picture the size of a billboard or even a tarpaulin taken with the Z.
sony love you to give this device, now give a dual sim dual core, so that sammys come to know actually sony rules, fabulous with Xperia Z
jb, 09 Mar 2013Digital imaging is one of Sony's strengths,
many reviewer say that the Xperia Z features one... morePictures do come classy but even upon little Zooming its blurry
what i mean to say detail on pictures are much less than those of xperia S or even Arc
AnonD-80827, 09 Mar 2013Dear All,
I am planning to buy either Nokia Lumia 920 or Xperia Z today. Can any one sugges... moretake xperia Z 2 feel the power of sony.
amazing quality... picture or whatever.....
Update, did some indoor shots again in good indoor light, its very sunny and snow outside, making it real bright inside as well. Now the Z starts to pull well ahead the Note 2. More punch in the colors (bravia engine is set to off for now) and Note 2 seems to get only green color well saturated, others look more washed out.
waterproof just make this phone have rubber cap hanging everywhere, it will be easily broken.. and when rubber cap is broken, tada, your phone is no longer waterproof
AnonD-80827, 09 Mar 2013hmm.. might be. but i love to take alot of photos. i do have a professional cam but that is to... moreI dont know hat to say about the photo comparison tool here, but the camera is not that good, thats true. Cant match iphone 5, or SGS3/Note 2 in optimal light conditions but as PA said, Z captures good detail indoor, and the colors are better than Samsung, for example a grey jacket got a slight green tint from the Note 2 camera while the Z got the color perfect (indoors, no flash). But all in all, colors aside, i dont think the Z is better than Note 2 indoors. Both are good enough, for me, i dont expect Sony NEX quality in dim indoor light.
The front cam was the biggest disappointment so far, its really grainy indoors. Looks good outdoor or in bright indoors areas but in "home" lightening conditions its noticeable inferior to Note 2.
I have had the phone for 3 days now and it is on the whole amazingly good. Its liquid smooth in looks and in terms of interactions on the screen. No lag whatsoever on the whole. I'd go on record saying that no phone for the next year will surpass this by much so its a safe bet to buy. Further, it just looks so good, cannot remember a more put together phone.
Of course, i think its easier to write the faults:
-Screen can seem a little washed or bleached out. Its as if the 'contrast' needs to be flicked with a bit.
-The camera app can take a bit of a while to open. About 2 or 3 seconds at times.
-the phone comes with enough bloatware to make you scream. A lot of it is un-uninstallable. [rooting, ofc, sorts this out but yeah..]
- Its easy to press the 'home' button whilst typing as it is non-physical and directly under the space button. VERY ANNOYING
- The little flaps that cover the ports may just break. They seem strong but over a 24 month contract...
In all, its a great phone. The very best android has at the moment, in one bundle. However, for now, I will stick with my iphone5 x
Anonymous, 09 Mar 2013Let's see... Beautiful slim powerful full HD with all quality apps or short fat bezelbub phone... morehmm.. might be. but i love to take alot of photos. i do have a professional cam but that is too big to carry always. :D
how is the cam result of ur Xperia Z? particularly of photos in bright sunlight & low light?
Do you agree with the results below?
