Here's a review:
"Minimal usage (excellent): With no 3G network, no WiFi and no GPS and a few moment with the display on, the Xperia Z can last for days without recharging. After 36 hours, the phone only used 50% of battery.
Regular usage (regular – could be better): With regular usage, the display set at full brightness, wifi on, GPS on checking emails, taking a picture or two, checking the internet and so on, the battery depleted by 20% in one hour. This use case assumes you may be outdoors and therefore need the higher brightness to compensate for the sunlight. The display remains the single largest source of power depletion in most tasks, except when gaming where the main processor may draw even more power.
Intensive usage (regular – could be better): I played a HD video over WiFi with the display in full brightness for half an hour and the battery dropped from 43% to 24 % – which is 21% per 30 minutes with intensive use.
Knowing that battery depletion is linear (for a given task) we can calculate that the battery will last roughly 2 hours and 30 minutes while watching videos non-stop over WiFi. We would have expected slightly better performance with the intense use, however, we know that a slim body cannot accommodate a high capacity battery (3000mAh+)."

He got all sorts of highclas jobs pretending to be a important person, he has no interest in this phone. He posted here earlier that he need so big battery capacity, he even said he cannot use a spare coz he dont have time to change the battery, yet he posted pics of his spare battery in Samsung thread here!
Its funny that someone who is a painter/artist and an architect (and what else) has so much time to sit here and post, especially since he claim to be working from 5 in the morning to 10 in the evening. Im pretty sure he is too fat to work and never had a job.
Dont reply the troll.
Why is everybody looking for a bigger battery on a 5" smartphone??? if all u can comment negatively on this phone is a small battery, dont buy it. no one is forcing u to take this. buy what u want and bring an extra big battery attach to ur phone. say a car battery maybe big enough for u.

I really have no idea why my comment was deleted, I only said that ive been a fan of Japanese electronics, Sony in particular, since 1997...
I guess the guy has a thing for plastic..
(will be using an all-plastic body) .... How Utterly Pathetic..
Sony is where my money was, is, and will be spent. And for obvious reasons.
Good luck with plastic.

I think I'm not going to buy because of the short battery screen time. I think the battery stamina will be useless like what the XDA users are telling there.
is there any led backlight in xperia z power button or just exist beneath the display?
[deleted post]I posted my comment on this couple of days back.I did faced a scratch issue on the back of my purple xperia Z.The scratch mark was on the camera lens, not on the back cover though.Maybe due to the flat design of the phone,i suppose. So the best is to have a back case of a bumper that will slighly elevated the pne when you place it on any surface.
