SnobZ, 07 Oct 2013GuysI was wondering if z1 is far more better than note 3??? Word of advice before buying it...... moreI tested Galaxy Note 3 yesterday in a store, spent a long time there because this very pretty young saleslady was so talkative. Nice demo indeed.
Anyway, the display was clearer than expected, and it looked much better than Note 2 display, but unfortunately also Note 3 has this strong blue tint when viewed from even a small angle, so if you care about color reproduction, especially the white (arguably the most important color on any display) then Note 3 has very poor viewing angles, webpages turn blue by the slightest tilt.
And then the region lock of Note 3, thats a serious limitation, if you are buying in Europe then Note 3 is absolutely a no-go, stay away.
XPERIA S USERS, 07 Oct 2013U troll.just shut and get from here
This just 4 SONY fan who love Sony u cheap troll plasti... moreThere are different ways of making LCD displays, that apply to Triluminous as well. AA website had a display side by side comparison with Z Ultra and Z1, both are Triluminous, they were equal from the front but Z Ultra had superior viewing angles. The reason is simple, Z Ultra uses In-Plane Switching, aka IPS, and Z1 does not.
Triluminous is different from and superior to regular LCDs in some ways, but its still LCD, thats why IPS or not IPS makes a difference still. AMOLED on the other hand does not use LCD technology at all, and is unaffected, by they still use TFT technology, which is something very different from IPS, and thats what most people here dont understand, they see TFT and think its so bad, they se IPS and think its great, but the two things are unrelated, much like the gearbox and the wheels on a car are two very different things.
no need bro. we, xperia user are given with Stamina Mode fresh from sony. i think this is more powerful than juice defender in term of battery saving and unctionality. anyway, thanks for suggesting.

But what happens if you drop the phone in the sand? The headset plug is open, in the water SONY says have no problems, but if you get sand, it will have a problem?
Waterproof is good for security. Not to use all the time in the water. IF you open one of the little protection coover You will lost the smartphone. Need to be really carefull with that. It's the same you use the smartphone inside a plastic case.

Us tech heads reckon Sony are not even making these phones its cheap Chinese manufacturer..We also assume Sony have used cheapish components to make a quick buck..The displays used by Sony are of poor quality and they have said lets add our Bravia engine and tweaks and leave it at that..I don't know any mainstream reviewer using Sony products they are of inferior quality..Sony used to be respected brand in 80'2 and mid 90's then lost the quality brand name.
Sony Ericsson were great Sony are not.
