But i wouldnt expect 30k of your money, thats wishful thinking, it is after all a flagship grade phone. In 3 months it should dip down to or below 30k.
pranavtiwari, 20 Feb 2014the image with flashed placed below is of Xperia Z1 not Z1 compact!!
Z1 Compact is the one wi... moreThis is why HTC named the One simply One, because if you search about problems other people are having with it you will be flooded with irrelevant search hits about One X and One X+, after a while you will give up and this way HTC could prevent people from obtaining negative opinions about it. It worked, especially at first when One was launched, it was impossible to find much about it online since there were already millions of posts about One X and X+, so they will keep the name even for the new model, it will also be very successful at first, if someone posts bad things he has with the new One it will be drowned in hits which is about all the other One (X, X+, One, One Mini, One Max).
Success, this way they can control what the average internet user will know about their new product.
The problem with this is that its frustrating for people using search engines to get help when their phone has a problem but we already know how much HTC care about people with problems, Peter Chou has decided that those people do not exist and that they will go away if ignored long enough. And it worked, people with defective HTCs really did go away but the side effect that our favorite Peter didnt predict was that none of them will ever buy a HTC product again. The sales figures has proved beyond doubt that the ignore campaign was a great success, although very far from a financial success.
In India.. launched today at 37k. Such a shame Sony.. Expecting it to be around 30k. The price really is a deal breaker for me.. Ri8 now z1 is 2k cheaper than z1 compact.. Wierd!! How come this happen...

Troll WarLord, 17 Feb 2014Sony the King !Gimme a break. Sony is one of many electronics manufacturers not your.favorite football team. I enjoy this forum to find how the device works over time. Let's not turn it into a pep rally.
I had this mobile for exactly 2 days before I sent it back. The back really is letdown. They should've just made it glass. I would've paid the extra money for glass. It scratches so easily with the polycarbonate.
Sony always seem to build me up with their devices....only to ultimately let me down. Ppl are also reporting display issues, & proximity sensor issues.
Get it together Sony.
I can only see one online store in the Philippines selling this phone. As per Sony PH it will be available by the end of march. What's taking them so long to released it in the PH? I can't wait 'till March so I'm buying it online (grey market). I don't care if the phone just comes with service warranty and not the manufacturer's one. I Love you Z1 compact! lol
anon-master, 17 Feb 2014But if you have so many grey market stores I can understand your cautiousness, still if I were... moreWell here is a problem!because in my area it can't be found exposed.300.000 people in this city and they do not even have a Z1 exposed, they have only a model,a dummy, that is lame.Don't ask me where I'm from please!So..all the option that i have is to order online. The store has a showroom but the model is not exposed there ofcourse.Alright,alright..I'll find one somehow and I will comeback with new impressions,I hope!
Anonymous, 17 Feb 2014Oh really?Yeah! That's how I feel about it!
