One oem make 4.3" phone then you'll be asking for a 4", while one would ask for 5". Then here comes the 5", another one would ask for 4.5". Please, there are plenty of phone size available for each oem, try trolling there.

The xperia Z1 compact is the same size and with the same display as the xperia V. I think however, that its square frame with thin glass glued on front and back will make it unsuitable for placing it in trouser pockets. I had hoped that Sony would offer a more premium waterproof phone like the xperia GO with higher specs and the same size and durability as the waterproof Xperia V. I think however, that they need a more durable frame than that found on the Sony xperia z1 compact.
A troll by definition is someone who makes a post to divert attention from the issue being discussed.

I had hoped the Z1 & Z1s would be as durable the Sony Expedia GO, and Sony Expedia V which I carried in my back pocket for months with no problem. I'm a customer in need of the latest waterproof phone. The Z series frame phone failed me and I lost a lot of money. I believe in improving rather than defending products which fall short of expectactions. Are you a Sony employee?

If Sony advertizes a dog carrying an expedia GO in it's mouth, surely they can make a phone that can be carried In my blue jean's pocket. I saw a lot of warnings on Z1 devices about keeping the waterproof flaps closed, but no warnings about putting it in the back blue jeans pocket like many people carry their I-phones. Sony's Z1, Z1f & Z1s, (Z1 mini) can be damaged permanently if the frame or glass is stressed.

Not taking the chance on the z1s. My z1 was great for 2 months. Display scrambled & sony service didn't fix it. Pressing on the thin clear tape covered display by putting it in your back pocket can ruin these type phones. Last device I had with scratch resistant glass was a timex watch back in 1967. This phone needs a titanium back & gorilla glass front for the price they ask.
Will you stop with the stupid questions abot the phone heating?! Of course it heats up if you play graphic intensive games or browsing hevy pages! Yor PC also heats up it you play games on it! Jesus!
finaly sony did it! its not a mini version of a flagship version, its a compact version of the flagship! !!! but I think there is no z1 compact dual!! better luck next yr flagship compact version for thous who r wating for a compact dual!
for those who have the phone already, tell us about your experiences so far. And please tell me the loudness of the speaker, im quite worried about the speaker because according to the review, it seems that its not loud like its big brother and cousins. And like my previous query before, im wondering if z1 compact is also having 2 types of display panel like the z1f. Please provide some feedback guys. TY
Guys i like this phone, it's premium, awesome, compact...
I own a BlackBerry Z10 and it's screen is 4.2 inches
But when i look at the Z1 compact i feel its screen is smaller although its 4.3...
Other Than that I'm pretty much impressed by Sony's products :D
Mir, 02 Feb 2014Good Specs. But Expensive and still ugly and t not actully compact You are so funny, troll! Bet you've never see never mind touched the XZ1 Compact. Well, personally big brother Z1 and other 5 inchers are more my thing, but played with this in the shop today and what struck me was how small, compact and well built it is. I think you trolls need to get a life, unless you are paid trolls!
