Tan Maxx, 12 Jan 2014Hope its priced near to the Samsung Galaxy Core or Sony Xperia Lare you f****** kidding me, dude!!?? It priced at €499.
On paper it looks awesome and I would buy this if I had enough money(atm i don't even know how much it costs, but i'm pretty sure is way more than i can afford)...no matter how much money.this looks like the best choice.first of all,it has 4.3" so the size is perfect, awesome cpu/gpu/camera/etc.the display is 720p,but who cares,it's still good. The only thing I'm affraid is Sony, who has a stupid habbit to ruin great hardware phones with shitty software updates.hope this phone will be bugfree, not like my Xperia L,which made my seriously doubt about Sony's employees and how they test updates(if they give a shit about mid-range phones). All the best!
rahul , 12 Jan 2014If this mobile comes in dual sim and cyber shoot it will be the best mobile What are you expecting, dude!? Snapdragon 800, 2 gigs RAM, 20.7 Mpix camera, and IP55/58 are enough for me.
Tan Maxx, 12 Jan 2014Hope its priced near to the Samsung Galaxy Core or Sony Xperia LAre you kidding me, dude!? If Xperia Z1 Compact priced near Xperia L, Surely, I will buy 5 units of Xperia Z1 Compact. It priced around $550.
Finally a decent spec'd Android phone that isn't the size of a house. I've been using a very tired Motorola RAZR M for over a year and haven't found anything worthy to upgrade to due to the ridiculous sizes of current top end phones till now. AND it's waterproof which is very useful.. great to see Sony being smart about things. Really can't wait for this to make it to Australian shores.

So i been testing various phones to see if i can live with low PPI, and i think i can. I recon this will be similar to GNote 3 which has Pentile display of 386 ppi, since Z1C has higher subpixel density it should be good enough. Not great though, lots of farsighted people who are in denial of needing reading glasses dont believe me when i say that i can spot rough edges on small fonts on a 441 ppi display. I truly believe that 2560x1440 is the best resolution for 5 inch phones and that this will be standard for 2014 flagships, then its a bit disappointing that Sony goes the other way, but the upside is that with lower ppi Sony is able to make the panel IPS, not that viewing angles of Xperia Z ever bothered me but IPS in general increases the display contrast and thats a good thing.
Zakriya, 12 Jan 2014Its An IPS Triluminos LCD with superior viewing angles and great contrast. Source: Xperia Blog.good mobail it is one in onli
james2312, 11 Jan 2014I agree. I put myself a limit of 500USD. According sony it should cost more than the xperia Z ... moreWait.. You willing to wait until August if this phone cost $550 at launch? To save $50? In August it isnt worth $500 anymore, if you pay $550 in Feb/March you get half a year with a top of the line phone, 50 divided by 180 days, thats like just above a quarter a day. Your logic is illogical.
Protocol, 07 Jan 2014Best mini phone I have ever seen. Hats off to Sony. I just don't like non removable battery. I... moreI have the xperia zr(which you can call xperia z mini). Removable batteries make your phone thicker. So, to fit all those high end specs in such a small body, a compromise has to be made.
cc, 07 Jan 2014That black front panel with big bezel is so ugly...Do they have designers at Sony ?? Well, it's a dust and water resistant. What were you expecting?
fcbarcelona, 12 Jan 2014Due to bas viewing angles and color shiftingHey genius, TFT is used in all displays, IPS and AMOLED included, it has nothing to do with viewing angle.
