I got a magnetic charger from eBay. when I charge my phone it automatically switch on scree sever from my album after screen locked and phone gets very hot while charging. Anyone face same problem. Please help me to solve this. Thank you

2 day battery... i am really astonished at the long battery life of the z2.my s5 was outt of juice by night(full charge in morning).sony rocksss

hey guys, i dont know if this will help you with charging your phone. i installed clean master. it has fast charging option. before it takes less than 3 hours to charge but when i activated the CM's fast charging, it only takes more than an hour.
disclaimer: this is up to you if you want im just sharing my experience with the app. if you think that it could harm your phone then dont do it.

Some people are complaining about heating issue of Xperia Z2. But every phone become hot if you play games or do heavy task. It is not a problem. If you want to check is there any heating problem in your phone install a benchmark APP like Antutu. Run test simultaneously 3 to 5 times. And check the score. If the score is almost same in all test then there is no problem. If the score decrease rapidly then your phone has heating problem.
Beside if you play games frequently don't use any back cover. Otherwise touch sensitivity of display may decrease. All these are true for any brand. Also heating issue is problem only for snapdragon 810 chipset.
So don't worry.

My z2 lag when play dead trigger 2 ... moreman ,i play exactly the same games u play without any problems... game play is smooth,very very smooth.i don't know how much amount of cache garbage u have in ur phone THAT U ARE FACING SUCH PROBLEMS. IN FACT 4 OF MY FRIENDS HAVE Z2 AND THEY DON'T HAVE ANY LAGS.
i assume that ur internal memory is do full of cache data that it is slowing ur phone.MY SUGGESTION-DO A TOTAL FACTORY RESET WITH ERASING OF INTERNAL MEMORY,DO THE LATEST SOFTWARE UPDATE.NOW,REMEMBER -if ur a gaming freak,use the phone for gaming only.if u are a social mefia freak too no doubt that even 3gb ram z2 will hang because of useless data in internal memory.
ps-if ur 3gb z2 lags a little in heavy games,i promise you that if u had any other phone,it would have hanged like hell

1.iphones can't share anything with android/symbian/windows phones by bluetooth or anything. iphone share with iphone only. so u will not be able to share anything with friends.
2.both sony and apple provide good customer care-so they give long lasting ips display instead of self degrading 1 year life span amoled of samsung(samsung amoled becomes yellow within short time and burns in if kept on for long-google this if in doubt )but iphone uses simple ips. z2 uses quantum dot ips with nanocrystals(triluminos) with phosohorled.z2 is better than ipbone 5s.
3.z2 has better camera-21mp as compared to 8mp of iphone 5s.
4.z2 haz 3200mah battery.iphone 5s has 1500mah.u will charge z2 once in 2 days...but with iphone u will have to carry the dpecific apple charger always as battery if iphone 5s lasts half day.(z2 can be charged from any micro usb charger,iphone require only apple charger which u can't easily find away from home)
5.z2 supports wireless magnetic charge.and z2 is waterproof.
6.z2 has stere speakers
7.z2 looks beautiful with smaller bezels than iphone 5s.
if u want to buy a phone at that price range,i would recommend z2 above all others.

I'd like to do a reset (updated the phone to LP), so I wonder what backup method would be good. I'd like to keep photos, music, and current apps (and app progress).

xperia z2 support fast charge 2.0. but the charger that is provided is not a fast charge support. u have to buy a fast charge charger from sony... but even without fast charge my z2 charges within 2 hours... 2 hours is so much for u??have patience man.u are really impatient.
guys,the battery lasts 2 days on a single charge.awesome.
