Virgina, 10 Apr 2015Go for white or purple. Black looks good only when screen is on. white or purple looks goodThose who having problem before or after update do any one of the followings:
-Repair OS using PC Companion. *This will delete all files and contact on phone memory so, please backup.
-Reset to factory settings. Delete everything including contact.
-Updating directly through phone is faster than PC Companion. But those who are having any issue, It is recommended to do it through PCC.
Since Android 5 is different OS than Android 4, do a factory reset after you upgrade. This will clear all temp files or unwanted files of Kitkat.

does anyone already updated their z2 to lollipop with tawain version? (23.0.1.A3.12 KITKAT). i have this one and when i try to update through pc companion, it says that it is updated.

Yep that's true. The screen has gone brighter, but im not to sure about the battery performance.

Guys,update with pcc. I was happy with lolipop battery,the kitkat 4.4.4 is bad,but lollipop best battery life..:))

I've updated my z2 to lollipop , the first 12 hrs the phone heats so much and the battery drainage was so fast ( 100-90% in 10 min ) but after the 12hrs heating issues disappeared and battery becomes better with time (100-96% in 16 min) while writing this post my battery is 63% and I'm already had 3 hours and 8 minutes of time screen on so the battery now is fantastic for me ( YouTube, clash of clans,surfing web,chatting,) my WiFi is always turned on .
The only downside for me is the sound it must be loader than this ( very disappointed)
In KitKat the average ram occupied was at least 69% now its 58% so I have more free ram percentage
Camera performance is the same just different design

I already update lollipop today to my Z2....its awesome.....love it....some option gone which available in kitkat....but over lollipop nice for sony😊😊😊

it does take a long time to update to lollipop...3hours
theres not a big difference ...hate the big icons ...and the icon theme..
the screen is definitely brighter
i must still see how the battery goes but so far no bugs...

Up button together for about 10secs.it is for Soft reset.it wil only put off ur fone and u can restart it manually.dat is wat I do whenever I experience such.

I want to share a very bad experiance of Sony z1 ( water proof phone service support and poor quality of the screen). Sony z1 when we put in baggage scanner in Airport Screen has developed a krack. Even my phone is in warrenty it is of no use i have bee made to pay 50% of MPR, so their is no use of extended warrenty , insurance etc all are trash. Though i have shared all the details of damage ack by Airport security that phone damage in scanner it is so sensitive to radiations all you 40K will go for waste.
