1]Z2 has memory card which useful lots of time
2] RAM is 3gb against 2GB of Nokia
3] I am not sure of apps available in windows 8
4] Battery is 3200 against 2420 of Nokia
5] Z2 supports HDMI, DLNA and USB host.
6] Camera is 20.7 Mp for both but selfie camera is 2.2 and 1.2Mp resp
My choice wold be z2 any day

I thought of buying Z3 but then Z2 came along unexpectedly now Im enjoyin the stuff, its awesome power and very vivid screen. I mean it. Very improved Sony XPeria UI. I couldnt wait much longer for LOlipop upgrade.. :)

But im still not sure. Nokia 930 or Sony Z2. Which one to buy. Im scared if the z 2 camera is bad..

I've had this phone for about six months and have been extremely underwhelmed. The first problem I encountered was an issue with photos taken in bright light having a purple tint in the white areas. I learned to ignore it, but was never happy with it. The camera was the main selling point of this phone for me, and I've found it middling. Definitely not worth the purchase. The simple photo editor that comes pre-installed is also no good. Cropping photos often distorts them to the point that they're unusable.
The second problem is that, despite the phone supposedly being waterproof, just having it in a humid bathroom with me caused water to collect under the screen and damage the screen. I had to put it in rice for a day and even then, the touch screen had issues. Blatant false advertising on the level of waterproofing for this phone.
The covers for the ports on the phone that make it supposedly waterproof are flimsy. The cover for the charging port is constantly falling off, and the one for the micro SD card went missing about a month ago.
The phone is unwieldy, heavy, and slick. It's large and bulky and hard to hold, my hand starts to hurt after a while. It also is very hard not to drop it because it's so slick. The built-in screen coating causes glare at different angles and makes it hard to watch a video on the screen.
Pros: The phone is beautiful. The purple color is perfect and I like it a lot. The UI is good. It's easy to use and setup. That's frankly about it. The phone's performance isn't very impressive. There's a TON of rather annoying bloatware that you can't delete.
Overall, I've been disappointed with this phone after doing a great deal of research and choosing it primarily based on features and heavily leaning on the camera. I take a lot of photos, particularly of my kids, and I feel like I haven't gotten anything special with this phone. The auto focus on the videos is the absolute WORST thing, causing many videos to be blurry at inopportune times and therefore unwatchable. And there's nothing you can do about it, either! You can't manually focus a video on this phone!
I would absolutely not recommend this phone. I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of a Moto X to replace it. Good riddance.

Had my z2 for 3 months took a photo under water less than half a meter and for 5 mins screen blacked out water damage. Now I have a Samsung 5 no false advertising from Samsung can't say the same about sony

i'm a z2 owner, all i can say is that i'm satisfied, really satisfied. a bit of hang while playing games, but i don't care. i love this phone. the battery is really awesome. no need to charge every 5 hours or less.the back heats up but don't worry put a cover if you're uncomfortable. the camera is great, i always use for group pics with my friends. thanks to my z2.
