Atuanui, 14 Sep 2017Great phone, original Android that came with this phone performed the best I feel for my speci... moreSo, a few days ago, finally bit the bullet and flashed it back to Kitkat 4.4.2. WiFi Performance so far has vastly improved across the board (different, regularly used, access points). No mucking around, Under Kitkat, WiFi instantly connects. For some reason, WiFi for me under Marshmallow... It took forever to negotiate a connection, regularly got stuck in an 'Obtaining IP address' loop. Would often disconnect / reconnect repeatedly, Data transfer would also often stop and start. While other Android (different brands / models) devices on the same Access point were fine. This was even after repeatedly factory resetting my phone (while it had Marshmallow) multiple times during testing / troubleshooting.
Something I believe is seriously wrong with the WiFi Marshmallow Drivers at least for the Z2 device specifically. I had waited 2 years hoping that Sony might release a patch to address poor WiFi Performance but this was never fixed. To add. I had another friend who, un-asked, mentioned she also has the Z2 and noticed degraded WiFi performance after updating her Z2 to Marshmallow.
Anonymous, 21 Dec 2017What a question lol. Yes sure. You can remove back cover and still it is waterproof. LOL
After 3 years Sony Xperia Z2 is still a beast, battery life if perfect, running games on ultra and high graphic with no lag, what a phone, gj sony...

DJ Khaled, 24 Dec 2017You fellas made me more confused :"D
I just wanted to know, If you are in my shoe, Would you... moreActually it will depend on yourself. I also use 2 mobile phones: Right now I use iPhone 5s for texting, writing comments, browsing, YouTube, game, calling. While my second phone is Nokia C100 (calling and SMS features only) and this Nokia seldom to use, the most is receive SMS and accept incoming calls only.
My Xperia Z2 I put back into box. I still prefer iPhone 5s compared Xperia Z2.
I also hold 2 phones, but rather seldom put into pocket. So, if you woud like to use 1 mobile phone. Then your Xiaomi I think can do the job since that phone can has two SIM cards.
You fellas made me more confused :"D
I just wanted to know, If you are in my shoe, Would you use 2 mobiles? Like: I have Sony z2 & Xiaomi redmi note 3 3gb version..
Thinking about : Xiaomi for watching movies, for hanging up.. Social media apps like facebook.. Chatting etc..
Sony for calls 70% of time, Browsing a bit aswell. Camera the rest of the percentage.
So.. Holding 2 mobiles with me makes my pockets heavy :"D
I hope i can have one for two but im not planning to spend money on.
So, Is it a good idea? is there any replacement in the price of those 2 if i sold them to buy a new one with 5.5FHD screen+ and a great battery and an awesome camera? the 3 features together?
Sorry if i'm making it hard on you guys :/

In 2017 and 2018? Higher RAM is better. For 2018 better choose 4 GB RAM or more. I was Android users, use several model of Android smartphones, buy new, use several days, weeks and months, sold them, buy new again, waste money cycle for crazy buying smartphones. In 2013, 2 GB RAM is good, but when 2015 and 2016, 2 GB RAM for me wasn't not enough again.
Android, their apps, Facebook, Twitter, etc, keep up to date, and needs more power and higher RAM to be operated excellent or perfectly. Android small RAM will be stress while install many apps and running them.
Hola bois, I wanted to know if that is a good mobile to own in 2k18? i have a used one, with a clone screen not the original one but the body is in a good shape.
I wanted to know should i sell it to get Meizu m3 note? 2gb version? I would be owning a new mobile, with the original 10 fingers multi-touch FHD screen than my clone , But i would get rid of 1GB of ram and a lot of good features such as the great camera and else.. " but i will be in a mercy hand out of the heating problem "
I really need a help in that if you can do , Much appreciated ^^ sorry for the long msg tho xD

ros, 17 Dec 2017but the chargin time only 2H without fast chargin. that also good to meDo you use Xperia Z2 Japan model? The international model doesn't support fast charging. My phone took up to 3 hours more for fully charge from below 30%.
There is a way to make international Xperia Z2 model to be fast charging but risky. Need to flash the rom to docomo and use Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0.
IÂ’ve had the Z2 since Feb 15 and itÂ’s a fabulous phone. Only wished that the internal memory was 64GB. ItÂ’s lightening fast and has a fabulous camera on it. I love the Z2. If you buy this phone you wonÂ’t be disappointed. If you like your APPS I would strongly suggest that you get a phone with at least a 64GB memory like the Sony Xperia X. My friend loves hers. Better camera on it too ☺️
Vic, 09 Dec 2017Hi all, got a question: Getting one in 2017? Super-stupid-I-dont-know-what-that-guy-is-thinkin... moreI bought this Xperia D6503 model several days ago. Yes it is old, launched 2014, but for me this phone is very good. At least, all functions work well and no problem, only charging time quite long.
Display is good, bright. Typing experience is very good, internet okay, camera is okay. Just notice the charging system is quite slow. I charged my phone at 18:46 battery was 27% and unplug it at 21:48 battery reached 95%.
