Keep the questions coming, I'm active here and I'm willing to help. Yes, I'm allowing my device to heat up to 38*C or even 39*C. If it reaches 40*C, I should be worried. I've reached that and I set off to cool it for a while. The temperature monitor's actually on the battery, because I'm aware that high temperatures are bad for the battery, it decreases its capacity, and I'm very wary of such event. I want my device to last long. (F) Have the app Temperature Guard installed (if you haven't already), it shows the temperature on the notification bar, it really helps.

Fault is yours you should have done a research before spending your money blindly. For me I'm highly satisfied with my Z2, it's a superb phone & I love it.
