Hey guys, I noticed today that my battery is draining faster than it should with the same usage. When I went to power management I saw that google play services was consuming 45 % of the battery, even more than the screen (19%). The phone was idle for 9 hours. I cleared the cache, force stopped the app, turned location off, but nothing helped. I wanted to know if this is a temporarily issue with google or my phone? Thank you

I bought it 2 weeks ago. Everything is prfact bt the only problm is about its battery timing. It hardly lasts for 1 day. And unfortunately my charger stoped working 2 days ago. My cell phone has no warnty. So please advise me what i have to do?????

Hi, can someone help me? I recently bought a Sony Xperia Z2. The battery was fine for 2 days, until I noticed the Google Play Services started using 45% of my Battery Usage! More than my screen! Is that normal? Or does it has anything to do with Google Play Services or Android 4.4.2? I didn't update my phone to 4.4.4 due to the mixed reviews. I uninstalled the updates of Google Play Services, force stopped it, still no difference. Can someone help me? My Battery Usage of the screen was 16% overnight and Google Play Services was 45 all of a sudden! Please..

Hey guys, so I recently bought my Z2. I love everything about it, but the only thing that worries me a bit is the battery. Is it normal if it drains 1% every 10 min. if I'm surfing on the Web and using social apps?

Right after i bought the phone, i noticed that it charged amazingly fast. But after a few weeks it became slower and took more than 2 and half hours to charge (because of the apps i had installed i think).
Please dont trust the waterproof notion that sony sells this phone with. IT IS COMPLETELY FALSE. i tried to take a picture from my xperia underwater and it worked out fine on the first day. however on the second day after a few clicks the phone started vibrating and wouldnt stop until the battery ran out.
Now i have to change the motherboard of the phone to fix it! (i bought it on Ebay so no warranty for me :/)
Camera is nice! gives you the option of choosing how much quality you want. Also the camera effects are pretty cool. Phone is overall not slow. the work is fast and smooth. Touch works perfectly.

Yes the screen is a bit dim. But the phone overall is excellent. I'm glad Sony is creating quality over mega sales. I look forward to the Z4 and honestly if they made a Windows Phone version I think it would bolster their sales. Keep it up Sony Mobile!!

Hows this for a tough phone,I accidentally left it on the roof of my car and it came off at 100kmh then bounced and got collected by the car behind me also doing 100 kmh down the motorway and flew in the centre medium strip, lucky for device manager and my tablet I pin pointed the z2 3 hours later with nothing but a few scratches on the edges, true story and probably never happen again but one hell of a phone sony has made
