Sony Xperia Z2 - user opinions and reviews

Hello good Z2 users. I'm planning to buy this model as an upgrade for my Xperia ZL, though I'm quite satisfied with it. I'm looking for an upgrade specially in battery life. I don't ask for much, 4.5 or 5 hours of screen on time would be excellent. I'm a experienced Android user.
Please help me.
My concerns are:
Does the Z2 heats up abnormally when playing games like Need for Speed?
Does the Z2 heats up abnormally when taking pictures or making videos?
I've used a Z3 for some time, and I don't really know if my unit was defective, but I couldn't use the camera to take 5 pictures because it used to shut down because of the heat!
That's my major concern, the abnormal heat on the device.
What about battery life? How long of screen on time?
This model is quite nice, and it's not expensive anymore.
I would go for a LG V10 but I've heard it's suffering from sudden death problem like the G4... No thank you LG.

2 Years Im Using This phone without any problem ...root . changing rom , mod and many more ... i love this phone . i wont sell it to anyone . i'll use it until its really broke and cannot fix .

Yes i have Xperia z2 D6503 model only stereo speakers good my cell phone back is automatic open and battery thick i have replace the battery in Pakistan 4150 Pkr in cell all things are good but display not good like as LG nd Samsung

Never buy this sh..t low quality overheating its 5 month that i bought it and there is some issues about microphone and screen is pull out it really does not deserve that money

U can install Japan firmware on any z2 and than u can use fast chasger. It easy. But i believe Japan stop on Android 5.o1 and it doesn't have 6.o1.

I drpped it much dosnt broken but my friends have sumsung one dropped their phones glasses became broken also with gard
the camera is very good if you know how to use it its like a compact canon camera series x
