Device seems to be a tat faster than it already wa... moreI'm sorry I was mistaken: no improvements in the Tap to Wake functions were made. It's still not very consistent and responsive, quite annoying acutally. Camera does get warm when filming and taking photos but it does not overheat.
The big icons are a pain in the ass though.

I am seriously considering buying it but i heard that this phone has got some wifi issues.i have a 2.4ghz single band router on my home.will it be a problem ? users please reply :(

Updated to 4.4.4 today, update seems okay!
Device seems to be a tat faster than it already was, nicely done. Camera software functions are nice , so are the added sound enhancements. Tap to Wake function seems to be a bit more responsive to me, I like it.
However, music stutters twice whilst playing your music from Walkman when opening up the camera app, even if it was preloaded already and in the cache. Very stupid bug!
Also, the Walkman widget has been simplified on the homescreen (not lockscreen!) , as you can no longer see the duration of your songs. Pity.
The larger icons don't really appeal to me either, but I'm already getting used to it.
Most themes of the Z3 are included and now you can set your dynamic wallpaper of the desired colour you like. Unfortunately Sony didn't provide the Z2 with all the wallpapers; You'll miss out on the 'dark/black' theme, the one I specifically wanted to use on my Z2.. sigh.
So all in all the update seems okay but I had higher hopes for it. Big icons are quite childish. I'm eagerly waiting for Lollipop though.

Successfully updated to android 4.4.4 now it looks like Z3,yup you heard it right,Z3 UI on Z2, awesome!!

Zam, 03 Nov 2014z2 or z3 ??!!Z2 is now the cheaper version of Z3, with almost the same specs, I'm using it for couple of months & it's really worth every single penny spent, one of the best phones available.

but for games no heating issues,
it had some heating issues for games before.but now sony has given a firmware update no heating issues like before, so please update it.
