After replacing my broken lcd with new lcd, my screen goes blank after pressing the power button 2-3 times. Any solution?

Since the update the backlight won't stay on. On certain apps it brightens and then turns off on others and when I'm on the homescreen it turns off. Anyone else have this problem? How do I resolve it? It's really annoying

Just installed the lastest update ((23.5.A.1.291). This is not the Nougat update.
I had a few bugs earlier (Album/email) this version has resolved all of that.

Dovice, 24 Aug 2016I just bought a used Z2, which from a speed and stability angle, is superb! Very lovely phone ... morerelock your bootloader with flashtools and flash the marshmallow .ftf again

I like this Xperia Z2 than the newly released devices by Sony specially the Xperia X series because they are now using MediaTek Chipsets SoC's. Xperia Z2 is using chipset (Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801) which is more higher than other chipsets (MediaTek) was used by the X series and its so disappointing. Sony is cutting their edge to become the durable and money worth devices

But I don't like the camera menu at all (personal opinion). And yes updating thru pc companion or flashtool is better than wi.fi ! I confirm that too! I used flashtool and all went good .Cheers

The new stamina update is way better than the 575 update. multi tasking got better. Although the much awaited Stamina mode is not same as Lollipop Stamina, it's rather that Low Battery Mode ie it switch off vibration, gps and auto sync for the app. The good thing that's added in the update is, now we can exclude app from Doze Mode very easily and excluding app from Doze also exclude it from Stamina Mode too!! People need to understand that Doze is inbuilt in Android 6 and its mandatory, Sony can't do about it and implementing dual battery mode thing is not possible.
for me- this update is quite fine or I should say Its good. I don't use battey savers so Stamina mode is always useless for me anyways. SOT is good, connectivities are good. Multi Tasking is good.
and what I observed is updating via PC Companion is always a better experience that FOTA update.

Did you made the 23.5.a.1.291 update? How is multitasking? Because in 575 update the multitasking is dead. I rolled back to 5.1.1 witch is the best till now. Waiting for any review.. Thank you

Had mine for 2 years now, and is very satisfied. Just keeps getting better. I am quite convinced this is one of the best sony`s ever..

Latest update of stamina bullshit just whipped my xperia Z2's ass off to the sky. Shame on sony shame on you. My SOT have reduced from 7 hrs to 4 hrs.. 630mb of total joke, Total joke. Are you taking us as ur enemy? So much annoying. Simply now I can't stand ny beloved 1.5 yr old z2 because of overheating, slow response and and freaking drainage of battery life. Get a life sony. You have lost your respect.

Just one extra note. The latest Xperia Z2 update is 650 MB and you don't even get a new wallpaper :(
