Just don't use the feature...
But at least on xperia you can record until it overheats, as for the rest of 4k bunch can only record for 5 min max

Mathanguna, 14 Aug 2014Does z2 over heat up while recoding video on 4k ????? !!!! is there any major issues ...???A little bit, not to much. When you are over with video it takes 1 min or less to recover, and then you can use camera again.

is there any major issues ...???4k shooting is really amazing and no heat issues:)
Of course, samsaung galaxy note3 & s5 has unpleasant heating issues

i am using my z2 from 2 months but im not very happy bcoz i havent received any major software updates and also the bug in the dialer has not been fixed yet.And do any one know when are we xpceting to get 4.4.4 update.plz reply if any one really know.

I got it with wrist band and back cover. Both are cool. Batter life is great but you need to turn off the location services, mobile data etc.
I like it more than I liked my iPhone three years ago. Every Tom, Dick and Harry has it now.
But my Sony XperiaZ2 is rare and one of the finest phones in the world.
