Given from the looks of things I think z3 is going to be an update of z2. But hey! I don't wanna spoil market for Sony on z2, you guys should go ahead and buy off all z2 and enjoy it while it last. But I guess I'll chill and wait for it's update which should be z3.

S5 is a super AMOLED. So if you say z2 is more accurate than super AMOLED, i have the full right to compare it to it's rival. And if you compare it with super AMOLED, I'll choose the best super AMOLED available now.
Z2 has an awesome display. I'm not denying it. But saying it 'accurate' is blatantly wrong.
Z2's display looks great: yes
Is it's color fidelty high: yes
Do the colors pop: yes
Are the colors vibrant: yes
Is the display vivid and has a great contrast and quality: yes
Is it accurate: NO
Is it natural: NO
Is it more oversaturated than AMOLED: yes.
So don't say AMOLED is oversaturated as the z2 has more saturation than AMOLED.
Even if I take an S4, it has less saturation and hence the display is more natural and accurate compared to z2.
Z2 is not accurate display, accept it.
But one point, accurate displays look crap and saturated and vivid displays look great. Compare Z2 with m8 or G3 and Z2 wins hands down due to more saturated display.

I own Xperia Z2 for over a month, and I got to say that my experience is pretty smooth. I haven't encountered any problems common to other owners such as the overheating issue and facebook video playback failure. I was able to record 4K video for about 10 minutes, and I stopped testing it (the overheating error did not show up, although I can feel the phone is heating up, which I think is normal). Facebook playback failure can be easily solved - just disable Xperia with Facebook.
This phone has great specs and a design that I consider elegant - I didn't feel that it's too huge for me (even though I have small hands), the boxy feeling can be improved but I'm contented with it. Battery life is amazing - I can use it for 2 days (normal use - occasional wifi and messaging) without charging it. I love the screen too - the colors are rich, but not oversaturated (personally, I prefer the Triluminos display over the AMOLED screens of Samsung since I always experience eye strain when using AMOLED phones)
The thing is, the signal strength is weaker, but I believe this varies among stocks (some stocks may have loose antenna). If ever you encounter a problem just have it replaced (hoped you bought the ones with warranty) or repaired.
Gap issue exists but not in all phones, you can choose. Besides, it has been reported that it doesn't affect the waterproof feature of the phone.
Defects may be common to Xperia Z2 phones, but if you can, as much as possible, obtain a stock without defects, your Xperia Z2 is an almost perfect phone. Yes, it is possible to have a defect-free Xperia Z2.

Z2 has gaps around the front and back panels... does it have any issues with water profound or dust accumulation? Even less Sony has said that this build problems exist ..Please help

2 months in with the z2 and still loving it! Battery is freaking awesome, screen is perfect, hasn't crashed on me once yet, it does get warm when on for long periods but all phones do, got camera perfected with tweaks snapping at 16mp,nearly 10mins of 4k recording with quality sd card is more then enough for me, I listen to the fm radio all day at work thru mini speakers without having to use data and still has pleanty of battery life when I go to bed, only one complaint and that it doesn't have a reset on the power off option but that's no biggie, all these people complaing that their z2 crashes and the battery is bad better take them back to get fixed or their just liers who don't have a z2 at all

been 3 weeks now that i have my Z2, THE best battery life on any smartphone or phablet for that matter, ONE OF THE best Camera's and i swear to god! i can record 4K up to almost 10 mins before it gets that hot, ONE OF THE best displays around its so sharp u cant tell the diff between it and the display of LG G3 and its bright enough for using under direct sunlight, THE best gaming performance and ONE OF THE best CPU-Ram performances in any phone-phab-tablet, stereo speaker with enough loudness and very good quality, THE BEST and ultra low latency touch screens available in market, highest water proof grade, THE BEST headphone quality, and in my opinion THE BEST looking phone out there, everything else i said are facts and i challenge anyone who think these are not facts to come out and tell me otherwise with proof, i've had every single Sony flagship to date including Xperia S-Xperia T-Xperia Z-Z1 and now Z2 yes im a Sony lover who grow old with Sony but im admitting here every other Sony phone had a seriouse flaw in it but im saying this out loud Xperia Z2 is THE FLAWLESS phone and unless Sony gives me sth really better than Z2 i'll keep this phone for a very long time, haters gonna hate but everything i said is absolute truth, and again shame on those liers and trolls who say any BS they can say just to narrow the Z2 userbase as much as possible, to thoese GET A LIFE.

after complete one month hands on experience I would like to say Xperia Z2 not worth every penny. Touchscreen so much sensitive even sometimes behave madly with glare sweat and headphone wire etc. Proximity issue when in call with sony supplied flip cover. If flip cover not used then proximity works well to hang up your call. Not worth every penny and its true .
