s5 is fast on paper.BUT touch wiz is laggy because of gimmick features and useless apps*
It make you sick in your daily use if you really own S5:)
Of course ,Z2 has 3g ram and Z2 is faster and more manageable than s5;
If you have Z2, you will know the best of 20.7 mp camera

I had some questions about this phone and i am considering to buy it, but just taking some precautionary measures. I want my question answered by a genuine Xperia Z2 user and not a troll.
Is it true there is a gap in the phone at the top right hand corner? if there is, does it cause instability of some sort?
Is the volume loudness ample for most of you out there?
Is the camera really overhyped? Is it an underperformer? is the flash enough?
Does it really heat up? specially while taking photos, while the camera app shuts down?
Please answer honestly. I looked up in the comments but no satisfying and clear cut answer.

Hi, I just got my Xperia Z2 and I love it!! BUT theres one thing that worries me, I do have a very tiny gap on the bottom left corner, can I submerge it in water or will the phone die?

AnonD-250158, 04 Jul 2014agree with you. same sentiments here...I agree, far too many trolls. I can only guess it is because they somehow feel threatened by Sony's offerings! It says Sony is worth their time and consideration. I guess it would be more worrying if these sad little trolls were not trolling, it would mean they do not perceive the Z2 as a threat to their choice of phone/brand.

I've had the Xperia Z2 since May 2014. It's been a great phone so far. The battery lasts more than a day if you're conservative on looking at the screen and performance is great as well. I recently purchased an aftermarket magnetic charger adapter that attaches to the end of the micro-USB cable and recently the magnetic dock area on the phone has become loose. Very poor quality checks and it's being held in by glue. I'm going to hold off on my next Sony phone and read more reviews before purchasing another. Google 'Xperia Z2 loose magnet' and you'll see some photos that people have posted, some even saying it came loose from use of the factory magnetic charging dock.

Sad to say that xperia z2 doesn't have free noise cancelling headset and charging dock here in the Philippines and yet the price is still the same or I bet it is quite more expensive than the other countries. It costs 33,000Php($767 )in the Sony Center. BUT...We have here the Kimstore(a generous gadget shop)who gives pricedrops, finally z2 is now worth 25,999Php. Isn't it's amazing?

this is very good mobile as specification. not a good mobile. because what is the use of 20 mp camera when it could not take the good video. what is the use of all high speed processor when the phone is heating like 50 degree centigrate.

The phone is gud fast but lags some time but no matter good primium looking sonys flagship.
But the only thing ive noticed for my z2 is the metal frame us loose shakes sometimes when i hold the phone hard tor twist or bend a bit
This might not be waterproof

Rather if u wanted a light weight rough handlimg device,super fast in daily usage, insant photography go for s5
I am a user of both the devices for 1month each
My prefference is s5

BUT, s5 has removable back cover. And two hole, camera flash and speaker, are existed in s'5 back cover
Moreover, s5 is used with rubber belt to the place where back cover fixed for waterproofing:) it is funny tech for waterproof;
Fingerprint is good in iOS but android versions are often updated and so fingerprint has unreliable condition and you can encounter data loss because of the error in fingerprint

3g ram is another fact for Z2 over S5
