1- which device have b... more1-battery life is better on z2
2-camera night didnt try it
in theory m8 shout win but no resolution
there are 2 different photos macro/land this make difference
3- why water resist is so important for you
will go stay in pool and make photos and videos
z2 is water and dust resist
4 there are many thinks who z2 is better than m8

I was confused which cell to buy xperia z2 or galaxy s5,but I think now it's clear....s5 would be better choice but it's design is ugly :-/

if you don't want shutdowns in 4k disable steady shot, it takes a huge amount of extra processing, and don't complain because nobody else even supports image stabilization in 4k

Personal experience:
Good
-battery really good can last for more than 1.5 days
-interface really smooth no lagging at all.
-switching between apps very responsive.
-high price/performance ratio, cheaper than S5 M8 but performance more or less the same.
Bad
-phone getting very hot when playing game like need for speed, but still can continue playing without hang or lagging.
-4K video is a joke, just few minutes video auto shut down due to over heat.
-camera, if on the camera more than 10 mins overheat warning message pop up and force to close the camera. Need to wait for device cooling down before camera can use again. Just like those old day, car will get overheat and need to stop at roadside before car can continue move.
-volume not loud enough even if activate XLoud function.

2. dxomark camera review of z2 check it to see how z2 camera beat nokia pureview.
3. no only freshwater for all waterproof and resistant phones... use it in pool not sea..

Moreover, Z2 's camera UI is fantastic*

AnonD-59637, 17 May 2014the z1 have 3000 mah battery but did any one have the z2 and how many hours it lasts with them... moreWell, gsmarena battery test show that xperia z2 got one of the best battery life.I mean it come in four place after lumia 1520,g flex, and sony own t2 ultra which are phablets.so technically it got the best battery life in a smartphone at 89h.and xperia z1 only scores only 53h which is average at best.

friends,, a SONY is always a SONY. .. a company that strictly sticks to the basics. Samsung may be the largest manufacturer of mobiles and LED/ LCD TVs . ... Innovations...flooded with features. (Mostly we wont use or doesn't need). let me put it in this way,, if Sony & Samsung are 2 automobile manufactures..SONY would stick on the engine smoothness & power/ fuel efficiency / Riding comfort & design & safety. Where as Samsung highlights rear view camera,parking sensor /rear viper / alloy wheels.. hope i gave the right example,,,

1- which device have better battery life my friend have m8 say 12 hours using while other friend have z1 say 6 hours heavy using and its the most important thing i need as i have xperia sl with 1700 mah battery :D
2- the camera in z2 is good or at night it is bad?
3-water resistant it can be used in sea water? ( salty water) or any other liquid or no?

[deleted post]1. He is talking about the lens, some Z1 units had a problem that the photos would be blurred on one side and clear on the other due to misaligned lens. There is a reasonable probability that some Z2 could suffer the same issue.
