iv been using the XZL and iv never been so proudly using a phone....simply flawless....until i lost it :(
One question to the XZ2 users is
One prob i encountered wid my XZL was the audio O/P through the earphones
was very very low that in traffic i simply coudnt hear anything
Just wanted to know the diff from the z to z2
has the OP volume increased

Best phone one can have at the moment .... salute to japanese maker

Z2 has best 4K recording due to 3 GB ram and its 20.7 Mpx camera... if you are up to it. And don't talk to me about overheating problem, Note 3 is recommended up to 5 min 4K recording due to same issue.
Sony smartphone's headphone output volume is customized to less as to not damage your hearing...but it has best noise cancellation tech...so to enjoy best optimized sound...
Sony's build is best for sound output through front stereo speakers...although not as loud as M8, it is more clear and without any trebble...
and yes, there is an issue of M8 and S5 cheating on benchmarks... M8 admittedly, S5 silently...
but with Note3 caught cheating by Ars technica...and seeing the benchmark results of S5/M8/Z2, i'm 99% sure S5,along with M8, juices up benchmarks just to sell...
So...I won't say Sony Z2 is best (although techwise it is without a doubt) but I'll just say...

m8 n z2 has d same cpu, s5 has it a bit better,... z2 has best gpu, ram....i hvnt used dem, jst read d review on gsmarena.

I just bought the Sony z2 and i used it for couple of days and i am speechless Sony z2 is the best phone i have ever used in every aspect quality design battery camera i think Sony have the edge now and its far away from any other phone i am very happy with my phone and it worth every penny i paid for

This is a proper upgrade to the Xperia T. Sony definitely have strong camera amongst Android OEM.
I am just thinking whether to keep xperia T, upragde it to this or get a new handset with same dimensions (z1 compact) or carry a point and shoot with me which will always take better pics than any phone.

I am not here to defend iPhone but i am sure you have never used any iPhone and have no reason to say its inferior to the others. Reading specs to form opinions and present them as facts is ok when you are 12 years old but most of us isnt and do not buy phones on such basis.
Bloat, gimmicky and/or defective features, heavy customizing options and so on are in fact reasons to NOT buy a specific phone for many people. Just look at tablets, Samsung can offer lots of "features" and defective apps but iPad is way superior. Throwing all kinds of modifications and accessories into a Toyota Corolla does not make it superior to a stock Ferrari and it doesnt surprise anyone, why should it with tablets? Or phones.
