Sony Xperia Z2 - user opinions and reviews

AnonD-159403, 05 May 2014Agreed. 4.7inches is a must but unfortunately it wont come up with 4.7inchBecause 4.7 is no longer very "Compact". Anyway i want 4.5 with Full HD and reasonable bezels, similar size to Z1 Compact. The two main things that made me not buy Z1C was pixel density and the shatterproof plastic film on the display, since i had an Xperia Z, loved it but the film was hard to keep clean, unlike my other phone, BB Z10 with no film and with oleophobic coating, the Z10 display stays clean all by itself like magic AND has a higher PPI than Z1C.
Its a matter of personal preference of course but for me 4.7 is stretching it.

Easily the best phone I have owned to date and I have owned and used them all at various times from iPhones 3G through iP5, S3, S4 (GPE) & S5 (regret buying this one) HTC One (M7)and LG G2. Also loving the M8! Obviously only own the Z2 and M8 at the present time but I have used all the above named phones at some point, the Z2 is the best phone I've used of all of them IMHO.

The Z2 is easily the best phone around right now and it does everything so well. Just sold my S5 to CEX at a loss but hated using it. The look and feel was absolutely sub-optimal for a top end phone! Z2>M8>S5. Usually keep two phones for different user experience and the HTC One (M8) is my back up phone. BTW, the battery life on the Z2 is simply great! Haters are always gonna hate, I say Sony fans, go out and enjoy Sony's best to date!

One question to the XZ2 users is
One prob i encountered wid my XZL was the audio O/P through the earphones
was very very low that in traffic i simply coudnt hear anything
Just wanted to know the diff from the z to z2
has the OP volume increased

Z2 has best 4K recording due to 3 GB ram and its 20.7 Mpx camera... if you are up to it. And don't talk to me about overheating problem, Note 3 is recommended up to 5 min 4K recording due to same issue.
Sony smartphone's headphone output volume is customized to less as to not damage your hearing...but it has best noise cancellation tech...so to enjoy best optimized sound...
Sony's build is best for sound output through front stereo speakers...although not as loud as M8, it is more clear and without any trebble...
and yes, there is an issue of M8 and S5 cheating on benchmarks... M8 admittedly, S5 silently...
but with Note3 caught cheating by Ars technica...and seeing the benchmark results of S5/M8/Z2, i'm 99% sure S5,along with M8, juices up benchmarks just to sell...
So...I won't say Sony Z2 is best (although techwise it is without a doubt) but I'll just say...

m8 n z2 has d same cpu, s5 has it a bit better,... z2 has best gpu, ram....i hvnt used dem, jst read d review on gsmarena.
