Afraid still waiting for my Z2 and the retailer is messing me about on delivery dates (one of Sony's key partners and not a network in the UK) so have had to cancel my pre-order as they could not give me a date. Having lived with the M8 for a while now, I would opt for the Z2, the M8 scratches quite easily which is irritating beyond belief. I have scratches by the charger port and am ultra careful now plugging the phone in. On balance, even though I have not yet tried the Z2, it would be my preferred option. The M8 is a great phone and incredibly well built but having used the Z1, the Z2 really has the wow factor! Your call really.

mrJ, 15 Apr 2014This is a Sony post and for High end cell phone users, not for cheap made mfgs like the one yo... moresony is totally cheap ...Z1 was launched in september 2013 and by february 2014 they announced z2....i also heard z2 flagship is only for 6 months ...who want to waste money can buy this model...

No one buy Sony, I got my xperia Z dead and after long email thread with support they asked me to pay for new board and assured problem will not happen again, that's because the support officer said :the boards that Sony give to support centers are clear of bugs, unlike these that comes out of the factory,
that's why Sony are the worst ever.

I can't figure out which one to take, they both have advantages over the other in regards to what i need and offcourse disadvantages.
So i would love if you could share some info with me about both phones.
If so let me know and i hope we can find a way to talk at that point.

The Z2's are being delivered this week for Voda & P4u (U.K), Cant wait..... i hope this is as good as i imagined....
