I don't like samsung phones.is too common when ever i see it in people's hand,i never interested.i hate htc.in my country people have alot of second handed ones from display to icons & UI looks ugly.sony phones look sharp and brilliant that is why i followed them from sonyericcson to sony.best phone best design amazing looking when display is on & off.

Smasung is same-song. Most o the features are never used on a day to basis like S- health, Heart sensor air view. These are tech gimmicks and does not add real value to the phone. I own and S4 and know what I am talking about. Just waiting for Z2. will dump S4 for good

Z2 is m... moreu are out of the subject,we were discussing whether the heart rate monitor is a good thing to have in the phone or not,my opinion was :yes it is a nice feature and sony should consider equipping its future phones with it.
i didn't say the presence of the monitor makes the galaxy s5 better than the xperia z2,there are more important things to consider when deciding which phone you should buy.

Z2 is much more than a smartphone
Z2 is also a world First real 4k video camera with MHL 3
Z2 is also a professional camera with amazing features such as info eye, background defocus ,slomo effect,and so on
Moreover, Z2 is also for your business talk in noisy area with amazing noise cancelling tec MDR NC 31 EM headset
So Z2 is the best in all the way
For you, Stay in hospital with s5 and heart doctor and always check heart condition
And Low quality heart rate sensor in s5 shorten tour lifespan and makes heart failure!

AnonD-249431, 02 Apr 2014okkkk....if checking the heart rate is so important, it doesn't mean you need a particular sam... moreheart rate monitor is a nice feature to have in a mobile phone but for me it is not important in making the decision of which phone I should buy,regarding the 3rd party heart rate monitor apps i tried some but they were not accurate.
i am copying and pasting my own posts because some people like you when replying to my posts they add things i didn't say.
i am not a fan boy of any company i like to spend my money on the phone that has the best features that suits me regardless the manufacturer.
if u want to reply to this post please read it carefully and don't add things i didn't say.

D22, 01 Apr 2014guys i have never owned sony xperia phones but i like z2 specs please tell me experience in so... moreHello, I have been using Xperia Z Ultra for the past 8 months. Here is what I can tell you about Sony’s phone:
Design- Glass and aluminum materials certainly gives it a premium feel. Though its shape may be a bit uncomfortable inside your pocket.
Battery- Its actually very good. Compared to my Samsung Note 10.1’s 7000mah battery, the 3050 mah on my Ultra actually last nearly as long as my tablet. But for gaming, expect it to drop rather quickly no matter what device you use, though some games does not drain battery as quickly as other.
For Gaming- It handles practically every game I tried without lagging. Since the Z2 is also packing a variant or updated snapdragon 800, expect the same great performance.
Issues with my phone are the following:
Software bugs and glitches- my sound equalizer does not work. It crashes everytime I try to use it. A factory reset solved the problem, but a software update brought it back :(
Rubber seals on the flaps- they are subject to wear and tear, especially the charging port, which compromises its water proof capabilities. My charging port cover is a bit loose now and I doubt that its still water resistant. If anyone here has had the same issues in their Xperia phones and has solved the problem, please share your solution. By the way, I think buying a dock charging station might help with this issue, unless you also open the micro sd/sim card chamber frequently.
