All Galaxy & Galaxy mini line is demolished and erased from the memories when Z1 compact came in action.
To me, Z2 seems to be much lengthy lot bigger in dimensions hence Z1 compact was just perfect but if Z2 compact has to come then I think Sony should consider building it in customers needs where it could win many hearts. As always I love Sony products and I heard SONY listens and doesn't disappoints.
According to many blogs and forums Z1 compact was found to be a bit small so many people which includes me as well didn't went after it as we like something not very big nor too small which should be perfect in pockets & to hold and be counted in the flagship devices as well.
HOPE SONY CONSIDERS AND RECONSIDERS PLEASE :
So, Z2 COMPACT should be with these specifications
DISPLAY SIZE : 4.7/4.75/4.8 inch - 1280x720 pixels *IPS LCD HD DISPLAY
BODY DIMENSIONS : 137.4 x 68.2 x 9 mm or something very very close to it.
BATTERY : 2600 - 2800 mAh minimum
RAM: 3 GB or 2GB is also enough.
Rest of the specs remains the same without compromising on anything whatsoever.
Excuse me, why do you need a removable battery? The life of using a high end phone is never needing to remove the battery. If this minor problem bothers you, don't buy this phone. Go get a samsung S4 active if you want to know why Sony has kept its waterproof design with non-removable battery.
ches, 31 Mar 2014i was hoping to read user opinions of z2, but people commenting here clearly doesnt own a xper... moreBecause Xperia Z2 not yet available on the worldwide market. For this time, Xperia Z2 already goes on sale in Taiwan Market.
The s5 has the same chipset (snapdragon 801) but gets only 5 points for performance but he z2 gets a 9. What are the basis for these marks ?
advice, 30 Mar 2014for people who are doing sports their hear rates should be slow ate rest ,slower than the norm... moreoh hello !!! sudden death can occur anytime.so you mean S5 can cure that?? at many times even doctors are unable to save those athletes.then, what can S5 do ??

Hey I'm using Sony & Sony Ericsson since 12 Years.

Love Sony products already have Xperia ZR. Hope Sony releases Z2 compact with same features just like Sony did for Z1 compact but size needs to be 720 x 1280 pixels, 4.7/4.8 inch screen which is just perfect for pockets by year end b4 Christmas. with no compromise on quality whatsoever. Guys what say?
yoyanoca, 30 Mar 2014Sony should consider also of producing Z2 compact.... just like Z1 compact.that would rape other minis.. just like z1 compact did
Sony should consider also of producing Z2 compact.... just like Z1 compact.
if samsung is indeed innovative, why would they copy/imitate the technology behind apples touch ID? shame on them... they always make things oh so cheap and oh so plasticky...
Rotu, 28 Mar 2014sony phones are only valid 1 year nd no innovation
but sony has good built
go for apple or samsungYou say Sony has no innovation? I own Samsung S4, I have to admit I'm a bit disappointed with (still) the plastic back. And the S5: plastic AGAIN...
This time I go for the Xperia Z2!
