Its called ONE OVER and is one of the basics of mathematics foundation. ONE OVER "a very small number" gives a very big result. Try it on your calculator, for example 1/0.000001 = 1,000,000.
The other way things doesnt go so well, for example if you said that HTC had a giant sensor at 500, wow thats so big you would say, but what does the calculator tell you? Unfortunately 1/500 = 0,002. In other words a sensor that is barely bigger than a single pixel.
There are reasons why all calculators except the simplest ones for 1st grade school children have a dedicated button with "1/x", because it is important and widely used, and i thought widely known as well but there may not be any schools in your place?

BTW !!! Z2 also has the aperture 2.0 not only htc one.

No no no no no no. Am a big fan of Sony guys do not believe in sony's camera I gave Learnt about camera guys this has a small image sensor than Htc one and S5. HTC one has 3.0 and s5 has 2.6. It takes nice pictures but not as good as that two phones so am very much worried guys

Anonymous, 21 Mar 2014You are fool thinking Sony always uses snapdragon ,look at xperia C Sony degrades the qualitie... moremediatek chips are better than broadcom chips used by samsung in galaxy grand......lg also used mediatek chip.
