currently enjoying the MM, wifi range i dont think it shorten the distance. battery improves, i dont use ultra stamina mode , power saving mode is good as well.

Marshmallow is really great....Really good performance, New Sony Launcher, More hands-free and headphone models for Music App., and etc....... Though it doesn't have Stamina Mode, there is power saving mode

I'm from ksa and I have already updated my phone to marshmallow.. Poor WiFi connection and battery drains faster compare to LL.

A few bugs with the Marshmallow update :
- Wifi range has reduced
- In the Album, camera pics display in separate folder (100 ANDRO) for pics taken before an after update even though storage folder is the same.
- Default email app only runs POP3 mail

I have sony Xperia Z2 and am running Lollipop 5.0.1 and see nowadays the version of Marshamallow is available for z2 my dosent alert me i had my friend upgrade his phone to lastest version i need some help if there any problem or something like this if someone had the same problem i would be very thankful to him i really need help to upgrade my phone

before doing the downgrade please install drivers in flashtool! Install Flashtool drivers from the following location: C:\Flashtool\drivers Tick the #Flashmode Drivers# and # Fastboot Drivers# to install.

Again found another 1 error I use magnectic charger. Doesn't response led inbmy cable..it used led under 10% red, upto 90%orange and 100% blue.now its lighting all the led at same time. WiFi range still sucks..whereas cam interface is loathe to use...this is all because of mm update....... Let's find other errr...

And I don't regret. Sony phones are super. Maybe you are aggressive user. Because my Z3 is 1 year old and I don't faced any issues.

Bought the Xperia Z2 US version in Dec 2014 and I must say that it is a good looking phone with solid features and snappy performance. Screen is clear but dust tends to collect and stick on the surface easily. Call clarity is good especially coming from the company with "Walkman" heritage. Also, the phone is waterproof with well sealing charging port, sim and memory card slots.
However, as of this day, within 1.5 years into its life, one morning, I experienced ghost touch issues where the "back" button was automatically pressed repeatedly. Hence, one could not open anything on the phone as it would revert back to the "Home" screen. Then, the ghost touch issue disappeared all by itself and the bottom portion of the screen containing the "back","home" and "recent apps" virtual touchscreen buttons stopped working completely. Rest of the screen is working as of now.
Took it to the authorized Sony service center in India and they refused to accept the phone saying that it was US version and cannot be accepted for service even if I am willing to pay for it (weird policy). Then, took it to a non-authorized service shop and they suggested complete replacement of front touchscreen as remedy and would cost about 40-50% of the phone cost. Was not sure about getting it serviced from a non-authorized shop.
Decided to take a chance with using an app to remap the three non-functioning on screen buttons to physical buttons on the phone such as camera button for home, volume up/down for the home and recent apps functions respectively. Currently, am managing to use the phone in this way until the rest of the screen stops working some day.
While technical glitches are possible in any technology, would have expected more service options from Sony and would expect a $450 phone to work for at least 3 yrs if not 5 yrs. If the life of this phone at $450 a piece is less than 1.5 yrs under mild use in terms of calls and other functions, I rather buy a cheap android phone of similar capacity for half the cost + similar specs and change the same every other year.

vbr, 28 Apr 20166.0 upgraded How to copy files to pendrive through otg cable..,no option in file managerI am using Total Commander file manager to copy, move or other file operations on my z2[D6502] and it is working fine in all platforms of kitkat, LP, MM. You can check and will be satisfied with Total Commandner apk.
