I was happy with my Xperia Z2 when it was 5.0 lollypop, after updating 5.1 I am facing some problems like heating and less battery backup than previous, great phone, xtraordinary performance

I have some confusions regarding...
(1) Heat up issues
(2) Durability (like glass popup from back due to over heat of phone,losing of Flaps, Cracking of glass ..e.t.c)
(3) Camera (low light e.t.c)
Also tell me is it good to buy in 2016,is it reliable enough so I can use it for 2-3 yrs WITHOUT ANY ISSUE as I am student and it is hard enough for a student to buy a new smart phone every year
I use the smartphone for watching movies, listening music, and i use camera a lot for taking pictures and recording videos,my previous phone was XPERIA SP that was a great but in my country SONY has no resale value.....
I am also interested in LG G2 it costs about 180USD in my country on the other hand XPZ2 costs about 280USD.....GIVE YOUR OPINION.... HELP ME GUYS TO BUY A GOOD SMARTPHONE,,,THANKS

Madu, 03 Dec 2015Please tell what is the best 4n Z2 / Z3 / C5 I need to buyZ2 and Z3 are identical with same features. Z3 has low heating issue while battery is better in Z2 and price is also cheaper for Z2 than Z3. If you need a good selfie camera then C5 is better choice. All in all, all three phones are quite identical.

It is sheer stupidity to get a Z3, it is absolutely identical to Z2 but with lower battery and much higher the cost. You should buy Z2 and then jump straight to X5 without wasting any money.

i have this model for 1 year and i really don't regret buying it. Yes it gets a little bit heating on its back but all the apps continue to work without turning the phone off. It has all the specifications of the phones published this year and for a phone made in 2014 it has 3 gb of ram which i think is rarely seen in the products made then.

Anyone who is using XPERIA Z2 for about a year...... Kindly share your experience.... how is this device for long term use (because in my country there no resale value of SONY SMARTPHONES so i want that phone which is reliable for about 2-3 years) ..... also tell me its performance on kitkat and on lolipop update.... is it still Good to buy as now a days its cost is about 250 USD in my country.....is it "WORTH EVERY PENNY"...:)

Anu, 02 Dec 2015Please anyone tell me how about the front cam..is it good for sellfie and skypeHey Anu, one of my friend in office recently bought this phone. I am also planning to buy this phone. Front cam is of 2.2 MP. FYI, Sony has made some improvements in Front Cam settings considering the new "Selfie" trend. Like we have 16:9 and 4:3 both image options. Although its a 2.2 MP only, but it takes very good selfies in Daylight and in good lighting conditions, that is also in Full HD 1080p resolution. Same for the Video also. Don't worry for the front facing flash coz u can always buy External Flash online in very cheap price like Rs.300. Its a great phone... Just Go for it !!! :-)

AnonD-398702, 01 Dec 2015I am Huge FAN of SONY and I am planning to buy this phone now over Sony Xperia C5 Ultra Dual, ... morehi, i am using this phone(z2) about 3 month already and yes iam having battery drain issues after upgrade from kit kat to lollipop, anyway this is a best smartphone i ever had, sometimes my phone is getting overheat when i browsing internet and play some games etc.. and 1 more thing it took around 3 and a half hour to fully charge from 0-100

Currently I am having Sony Xperia ZR, working perfectly fine including 5 times underwater diving, 3 of them in sea water. Still working perfectly fine. Proud to have SONY. So, I have some questions regarding Z2.
Q1. Does any one notice any difference in Battery drain in Lollipop 5.1.1 and Kitkat 4.4.4? as lollipop eats more battery even in idle time also. Please mention ur MAX Screen on time.
Q2. What about the "camera app force close" issue due to Heating?
Q3. Front camera quality? Does it can be used for good selfies?
Q4. Anyone using Fast Charger? If Yes, then How much time it takes to full charge?
