Some features are very bad, like its weak flash light, low quality front camera and low light back camera, its otg feature is painful to use, its battery backup is not good enough.

Worst phone I ever had. Besides the known heating issues:
I got very low battery life, which have been worsening with the updates.
My usb port is faulty so I cannot move the phone while charging or it will get disconnected.
The camera, main reason I bought it, has got a lot of issues since last android update so now it's pretty annoying to use it.
This is my 4th and last Sony phone.

In terms of system stability, z3+ dual has no problem
The great setbacks are camera issue
Low focus capability (Sony already confessed) tarnishes the goodness of z3+ dual
Heating and battery draining issues persist in android 7.1.1
I would not suggest not to invest in this one and bettter try for snapdragon 820+ geared z series

Hello everyone, i had posted my request to the members to advise me regarding the heating issues. No one has come forward to advise me that go with the wind and get it, heat issues will be managed anyhow. Apart from the local feedbacks regarding the much feared snapdragon 810,and the biggest mistake that sony made was that when processor was such a volcano type, there was indeed no need to make it water proof. instead they could have provided with generous vents so that heat could be dissipated. In absence of any positive feedback, i went for Red Mi note-4, which may not compare, but it atleast doesn't heat, and plays all the known games, and has equally nice battey to match. The same japanese people who did mistake with sony z3+ also repeated their mistake in the times of sunami, and created graveyard on earth called fukushima. English proverb goes like this"penny wise, pound foolish"

Z3+ is having maximum screen brightness of 669-700 nits. and z3 is having about 600 nits. this is the most striking difference and which marks the desirability for the product. I am seriously reviewing this model Z3+dual for purchase ...fellow members may kindly advise me regarding usability of this product, as i have read elsewhere that there are heat issues.

I've had nothing but trouble with this phone. After about a month the stupid cover flap for the charger came off. After 1 year I needed to get the motherboard changed, then the external speaker stopped working, and now the glue that keeps the screen and back cover on is loosening. It turns off if you jiggle the charging wire. The camera keeps turning off when too hot, most of the camera features don't work, and the music player keeps creating weird files. I will never buy a sony phone again.

After i update 7.1.1 my z3 plus heating problem is still present but not the same like before. Battery life extend 10% more on my regular use, speaker is louder than before. I think 7.1.1 is the best update that i get for my xperia z3plus. Btw i update my phone using xperia companion. 5hours screen on time is not bad for a 2yr old phone. :)

Pleasantly surprised to receive the Android 7.1.1 update, really didn’t expect this model to go beyond 7.0. Got it 4 days back, here in India. Mostly minor changes under the hood, along with the latest security patch of course. Have observed the following till now:
1. Notification menu has been tweaked slightly for easier access to the main settings section.
2. Selection of multiple messages has been redone: a big tick mark now compared to small check boxes in 7.0.
3. Speed of A53 cores restored to ~ 2Ghz.
4. Whenever a call is made/received, the “do not disturb/ alarms only” sign comes up in the notification area. Not that it affects the call or anything, but it wasn’t there earlier.
As regards the heating issue, what I have observed is that it increases remarkably if the phone is being used (especially data usage) while charging. The flip side is that the notification “some apps may not be available due to high temperature in device” comes on now much more frequently than before. Hence it is preferable not to disturb this beauty while it is charging. At other times, it isn’t much different than other phones.
Overall the phone is snappy as ever. I knew about the heating issues with SD 810, but couldn’t resist buying it since I’m in love with their design; and honestly, I haven’t been disappointed. The camera may not match upto everyone’s expectations from Sony, but it’s still one of the best on the market.
After this update, Sony just raised my hopes for getting Android O! Come on Sony, you’re the best!! 
