I have this phone for 2 weeks. I bought a Ringke Fusion case, a second charger (the one for the magnetic pins).
It works flawless, great looks, mindblowing speed and pictures.
If you have to choose between S5 or G3, pick the Z3.
AnonD-350460, 10 Jan 2015Z3 or G3?go for z3.battery life and camera on z3 is much better than g3.

kl, 09 Jan 2015Ive been using samsung phones for awhile and I wanted to change since theyve disappointed me (... moreGo for HTC's new flagship! One of the big pros of HTC is that its telephony quality is the best! No reception problems, call quality and audio is top notch, screen is one of the best lcd in the market even better that iPhone's lcd!
The reason I went for an HTC One (M7) is that other brands have too many issues with what a smartphone is supposed to do, i.e, perfect call quality! And I heard that the M8 is even better! Hopefully the new HTC will have a better camera to rule them all!
Just got this phone today...So far I think it's great!! very smooth OS and the camera is CRAZY!!
I'm a gadget fun I used hundreds of phones including HTC one m8,m7,galaxy s5,s4,s4mini,s3,iPhone3gs,4,4s,5,5s,6...etc all the bests...also many highend Chinese ones... I can tell, Sony xperia z3 is one of my best experiences if not the best... User friendly, easy to use, very nice screen high ppi... Fast net, good signal everywhere, smooth good optimised os, brilliant sound especially with the original Sony headphones. More then enough RAM great cpu and gpu. This is what I call high end today, there is nothing you wouldn't be able to do with this smartphone. I had a z2 as well I loved it but z3 is even a lot better... I couldn't find any issues or any problems with it, if you count every fact about it, including the high battery capacity +stamina, the sound, and the elegant look you will see this is probably the best phone today on the market. If you take care about it you will be happy to use even after 2 years...
...was so excited to get this phone until one of my workmates told me about "self screen cracking issues".
and that really killed my vibe along with my hopes and dreams
Ive been using samsung phones for awhile and I wanted to change since theyve disappointed me (s3, note 2, note 3) so I wanted to try Sony (I had an Xperia before and it was really bad). Ive had Sony xperia z3 dual for a couple of months now.
Top pros for me would be battery life, camera, audio, u can use ANY carriers with dual. Top cons for me is the echo I hear thru using earphones (even with Sony earphones with mic) and also on speaker (the worst), also people can hear the person ur calling thru phone (maybe phone is too hallow, not sure), speaker audio is not that good either, no basic apps like gallery, u cant edit things in sd card unless u go inside manually, etc.
I was hoping to be using this phone for at least 3 years, tired of updating and paying so much money.
For those who are thinking of getting this phone, those were my pros and cons. Apparently z3 compact has echo issues as well.....I dont know which brand I'm going to after this phone...
I'm still undecided on this phone, whether to get it or wait until the Z4. I was hoping Sony would provide info about the Z4 at CES but they didn't.
milan, 09 Jan 2015how much free rem memory you have usualy , when phone is working normal? thanksRight now I have 1,2GB. But how does it matter? You have 3GB in total. Less free memory means your phone makes better use of its multitasking capabilities. It is not 2010, where your ability to run an application was dependent on how many tens of free MB of RAM you had.

Can someone please please tell me that which earphones come with this variant of z3 ? I've really been curious about it.
