I'm a graphic designer, so it is implicit that I care a lot about the colors on the displays I use.
With the Z3 (my current phone), you've got two options:
1. Stick to their settings and activate X-reality - brilliant for outdoor use or if you're on the go.
2. Turn X-reality off and play with white balance: I got that right (ie I've removed the blue-ish factory effect) in a couple of seconds! The display turns into an incredibly natural display. I've placed it right near my professional DELL 27 inch display, which I myself have calibrated for color accuracy. The differences were almost nonexistent.
I do not understand why people like you who are obviously illiterate on the topic take the time to write such nonsense.
From a professional perspective, you can't really compare IPS LCD to AMOLED. These are two different technologies, both pushing ahead advantages and trying to hide disadvantages.
Sony's screen is not exceptional in itself. Exceptional is the amount of luminescence it produces (700 cd/m2 as stated by Sony, but even more, as measured by online reviewers - up to 840 cd/m2). To give you an idea, galaxy S5 scores around 500 and the Note 4 around 400. More light allows for the eye to literally read the image better.
So questioning a device based on some specs, as you do, is simply counterintuitive ;)

Yes, that's right, Sony is genius. battery life + good build quality is more important than a QHD. Your QHD will be useless if your battery life too short
For everyone who is being a skeptical about the decision from Sony not using a bigger screen (5.5-5.7 ") and a QHD for their latest flagship here is the reason:
Using the bigger screen and especially a QHD display will ruin the battery backup of the phone. Sony is building its trademark for the best battery backup phone among its competitors. A good battery backup is A MUST need for anyone who uses a smartphone for everyday use. And QHD is just a gimmick, we don't really need it coz it makes the phone lag and consumes battery. The 1080p is more than enough to please the eye.
And there will be an answer: many phone out there have a good battery back up, so where the plus point? Well, Sony combines the good battery back up along with a good build quality and an IP 68 certificate. That should be enough to close my statement. Have a nice day.
Does this support 4g bands in India. I mean TD-LTE/Band 40/2300
