YES INSURANCE! cause if you drop your phone and IT CRACKS warranty does not cover your butter fingers!
insunrance WILL COVER THAT!
IF you GET ROBBED warranty DOES NOT cover your bad luck! INSURANCE WILL!
INSURANCE fraud? you do NOT even know what you are talking about!
DO not talk about matters you know NOTHING about!
if its a Equimpment problem warranty is always tere!
if its a dumb butter fingers user problem you better PRAY you have insurance to cover that up!
this Z3C is perfect! no issue so far! people are just reckless with their phones! PERIOD!
sony use its own screen protection called dragontail rather than gorilla and its seem to be better
I really wanted to buy this Z3C for it's normal size, camera with a dedicated key and amazing battery but may wait for Z4C with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 both sides and an improved camera firmware.
DeservedWolf, 27 Dec 2014No.. I have been using it for a month now and nothing is cracked.. working perfectly. I think the cracked units might be coming from certain assembly line and Sony being STRICT in terms of quality must tackle this issue and if it is confirmed to be assembly or material defect then Sony must recall all affected lots. Don't just think it's only a few and it doesn't exceed theri dpm quota. Sony must refund or replace those unlucky buyers.

is it true??????
happy Z3 user, 26 Dec 2014did you got insurance on it when you bought the phone on the shop?
i have 1 year insurance ... moreLamest comment ever. Silicone case? Silicone cases was the reasons for self-cracking on Xperia Z, the strain the case put on the phones twisted them and eventually they cracked.
Insurance? WTF does that have to do with it? If you have a selfcracking phone its the responsibility of the manufacturer and by using the insurance you are committing a fraud. Dont encourage people to become criminals just because Sony refuse to fix their mess, insurance fraud is a serious thing because it makes insurances more expensive for everyone else, and thats why all cases of fraud should be reported, people making false insurance claims are stealing from the average person in the street.
Insurance do NOT cover warranty issues! You are encouraging insurance fraud. It can extend them but then ONLY when the device is already out of manufacturer warranty, which is not the case with Z3c.
Dear Sir,
I'm a new user, for that reason I can't change language in this phone. Please suggest me. We need English language.
Thanks'

jclemente, 26 Dec 2014the best phone in the market right now I Totaly agree,(forget the note 4,nexus 6,and iphone 6 plus)
Can someone tell me about the battery life? Others say that it drains fast, others say "It's epic.". Choosing between this or G3. (Btw Sony fanboy.)
Z1 compact and Z3 compact, why dint they release Z2 compact?
tried googling...

i have 1 year insurance for damages from falls and or robbery!
did you had a protection on it? some silicon cover?
if you fall down to the ground at that same very distance im sure you will get minor injuries.
gravity sucks! prevent yourself.
get an insure on that phone. or a silicon cover.
gorilla glass is overratted
wtf is wrong with sony! They can't even put a gorilla glass to protect the display. The display got broken falling from knee length height. Piece of crap
Great phone, Perfect size and functionality. Despite all that is said, the phone is quite durable.
Using this phone for 3 weeks...so far, best phone I ever had. Perfect size. Suberb night shots in manual mode (ISO high sensitivity)
My question is...Should I update the firmware from 23.0.A2.93 to 23.0.1.A1.43 ?
Cons...(but still, the best phone I ever had)
-it doesn't have an On/Off Power Schedule. For example, at 23:00PM auto turn Off, at 07:00AM auto turn On.
-only 16(12)GB (NFS Most Wanted 1.9GB, GTA San Andreas 2.3GB)
-cannot move apps to sdcard
I am very happy with my Z3C!
updated to the latest Sony firmware and all is fine! no PROBLEM AT ALL.
battery durability is super commendable!
wish all phones lasted as much as this one!
i HAVE NO CRACKING screen or any screen issues!
i don't really know what you guys ARE DOING with your phones but so far no screen problems at ALL!
all this FUSS about fragile screens is very very weird and suspicious to me!
i guess you people should be careful where you leave your phones around - just in case someone picks it up and damages it (and YOU don't know about it) and then you come here BLAME SONY!
THE only REMAINING question is:
with this Z3 compact be updated to lollipop 5.0.1? cause the first release of lollipop 5.0 has numerous issues --- so it appears...
junb2014, 25 Dec 2014I am utterly disappointed when searching for a "crack screen" it's all about Sony Z ... moreEvery phones has fragile glass display:)
Even aluminium frame can wear out!
Most of Z3 compact users are very happy with superior performance and adequate durability:)
By the way, Did you know z3 compact has rather tough NYLON corner??
Don't troll
