willboyce, 16 Sep 2014hi. has anyone had problems with z1 compact. im interested in this device. looks great in whiteI love my Z1 Compact. The only issue I've dealt with is that sometimes the camera takes forever to open. I think if snapchat is running in the background, it sometimes makes the camera glitchy. It's like the stock camera app and snapchat sometimes interfere with each other.... happens like once over two weeks or so. Resetting the phone or just waiting a few minutes has worked.
Bogdanl, 16 Sep 2014LOL, OK....., what about AC units, non sony tv's and electronics, lights, car audio-video unit... moreremember when the iphone was not able to do video recording ? the fan boys then said who needs a video recorder in a phone?

Good luck with the bloat on Samdung!
There seems it could be a real dealbreaker here, some are saying that after KitKat 4.4.4 its no longer possible to disable the Whats New app from hijacking the home button without rooting. I will FOR SURE NOT buy any Xperia phone again if this is true.
This is very sad news, waiting for final confirmation but it doesnt look promising.

My wife and two teens are now getting smartphones, but they don't want anything larger than the iPhone 5s. They don't care which phone or carrier.
This phone fills the needs of the "small handed" people without having to stay with last year's technology. Well done.
excellent if thr is a dual sim option 1080p display wid 4.7 inch and 3000mha battery.
moto g lte 180€, ok it's not the topnotch class, but is it worth spending 300* more for a contraption that will be obsolete in six months? But very tempting i agree:-)
Bogdanl, 16 Sep 2014Why no IR blaster.......?And why they should put IR blaster? Nobody use it anyway, only dumb people does. Are you one of them?
Anonymous, 16 Sep 2014Very good... if the price was 20% less. It's only about 30 euros less than a 32GB LG G3 where ... moreYeah because the G3 is so compact and the only natural alternative to Z3 Compact? Ahahah, you must be on the wrong forum.
Bogdanl, 16 Sep 2014LOL, OK....., what about AC units, non sony tv's and electronics, lights, car audio-video unit... moreWhy on earth would i want to grab my phone, unlock it, find and open the IR app when the remote for my AC is right beside me and the buttons are always ready to be pressed?
And car stereo, SERIOUSLY, if it has no physical buttons you are a danger to public safety, having to rely on visual controls on a touchscreen. Pioneer car stereo remotes are made to be operated perfectly without ever having to look at it, they could never be replaced by a phone with an IR app.
Do you enjoy complicating simple tasks?
Very good... if the price was 20% less. It's only about 30 euros less than a 32GB LG G3 where I live, which is way too much.
jirokanz, 16 Sep 2014What year is it now? Who need IR blaster when Bravia TV can be controlled using wifi.LOL, OK....., what about AC units, non sony tv's and electronics, lights, car audio-video units, etc.?

Philipp, 15 Sep 2014I'm using my phone primarily for texting, email, browsing the web, calendar, tools, and readin... moreSince you mention the Alpha, it is considerably longer than Z3c, its bordering to some 5 inch phones. Thats a dealbreaker, if i wanted long phone i would go for iPhone 6.
