Anonymous, 04 Sep 2014Looks like my suspicions were correct, no FHD. But that is a plus imo cuz my Z1c is beautiful ... moreOK, it looks like the specs above are wrong. According to the sonymobile site, this phone supports 128 GB microSD cards. Now we are talking! An upgrade is starting to look tempting :)
anurag, 03 Sep 2014why should bother to buy for this specification when...nearly same configration is already av... morefor me it's the besel, lighter, slightly bigger batt. I will have to wait for the price to go down before purchasing it :)
Anonymous, 27 Aug 2014I wonder about the dimensions. Eerily identical to the Z1c yet FHD pushing ppi to nearly 500? ... moreLooks like my suspicions were correct, no FHD. But that is a plus imo cuz my Z1c is beautiful and I especially love the battery life.
Snapdragon 801? Hmm, would have preferred to see a 64 bit SoC. And before you start flaming me that 64 bit is not needed blah blah blah, HTC just released a mid-tier phone that is 64 bit. So it's in the pipeline. The iPhone 6 will assuredly be 64 bit and everyone will be scrambling to catch up. That is the truth.
I like the fact they are keeping the microSD slot. Now we just need 128 GB support.
Note that the size of the phone is the same as the Z1c but the screen is bigger. So ppi is lower. Not sure if this will make a difference or not.
A lot of people complain about the big bezel on the Z1c, but the screen is so touch sensitive I like the fact now that there is room to grab on to my phone which I value over accidentally dropping it.
Will I upgrade? Probably not. I was looking for more than this. But I am happy to know that sony is continuing the compact line.
Everything is great, but why not a contained LTPS TFT screen, that irritated me and another fans
Oh no Sony please do not do that again. I wanted to see full hd screen, infrared blaster, no bezels, barometer,
Just ordered mine, been waiting for months for this....Cant wait....!!!!
Planning to replace it with my Nexus 5. I love Nexus 5 but I want a smaller smartphone with a good battery. I have small hands.
If they fix the self-cracking screen issue with the whole Z line up so far, I'm in. Otherwise I'll get a Galaxy. They've had years to fix that issue and I'm interested in getting a new phone within the next half year to a year. No rush, I will wait for forum posts if it is a continued problem with the Z3 line up too. Let's wait and see if Sony learned anything...
its perfect phone but i want the dual sim version.i want xperia z3 compack dual than i will buy this phone.
differential that is the only phone the Z line that comes with ISO 12800
why always 16gb? if only got 32gb, it would be perfect and much better!
Wow Z3C is a very good Iphone 6 killer. With its durability this is the best choice for those who are looking for average sized phone. I will choose this over all android phones for my wife. But since I want to scribble anytime and anywhere I will choose the Note 4 for myself.
almost the same with Z1 just minimal improvements like front speakers faster clock speed of the processor battery life 3000mAh compare to 2600mAh sim size etc i will stick with Z1 rather than Z3c
